I have spent my entire life working with and alongside first responders like firefighters, police, and EMTs. There's something about many of them, even when they're off duty, that lets me know their character. As Christians, shouldn't we carry ourselves in a way that sets us apart? Not in a boastful or arrogant manner, but with an attitude of love as Christ loves us! ✨🙏

The Gospel Music community is like a big family. When we lose a member, or in this case a family, everyone in the industry grieves.
The Isaacs & Nelons have had very close relationships through the years. So, it was natural for the Issacs to sing for the Nelon homegoing. I wasn't familiar with this song. I know that although it was difficult for Autumn to sing, it was also healing.
We continue to pray for the families

August 23 is almost here!

There's a beautiful story of support and encouragement in Exodus 17. Moses was growing weary so Aaron and Hur stood beside him, one on each side, and supported him. We are counting on YOU to be our Aaron and Hur as we move toward the last weekend of August.

1. Pray for the release of The Forge on August 23 (August 22 in some areas). We're praying for release in 1800+ theaters across the country! To God be the glory!
2. Pray for God to, once again, do more than we could ask or imagine as He speaks to the hearts of movie-goers. Pray for a mighty movement of the Holy Spirit in theaters everywhere.
3. Pray for our lead cast. They are traveling, doing interviews, and working non-stop to get the word out about The Forge. Pray for safety, endurance, wisdom, and rest.
4. Pray for our marketing and public relations teams. Their work has definitely been a marathon, not a sprint! Pray for enthusiasm, energy, and stamina.
5. Pray for the impact of The Forge on all ethnicities, genders, families, and skeptics. Pray especially that younger adults and teenagers will watch The Forge and be encouraged to follow Christ in discipleship.
6. Praise the Lord! The Forge is scheduled to be released in 23 countries within the next 3 months! The Forge is also being translated into 40 languages! All praise to God!
7. Pray for our Kendrick team as we strive to honor the Lord in all we do.

Cleanse our hearts. Hear our prayers, Lord.
May all we do bring honor to You!
In Your precious name. Amen.

When I look in the mirror, it's difficult to imagine that I was created in the image of God. But, Scripture tells us it is so. With that knowledge, shouldn't we treat God's creation (ourself) a little better?

A STATEMENT FROM GAITHER MANAGEMENT GROUP:
One of the best loved Gospel music families in America, The Nelons were involved in a tragic, fatal plane crash on Friday afternoon on their way to join the Gaither Homecoming Cruise to Alaska. Killed in the crash were Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, Amber and Nathan Kistler and their assistant, Melodi Hodges, along with the pilot, Larry Haynie and his wife, Melissa. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the accident.
Autumn, Jason and Kelly’s youngest daughter, and her husband, Jamie Streetman were not on the plane and arrived safely into Seattle and were notified of the accident. They were brought to the hotel where artists were gathered with Bill and Gloria Gaither to pray, sing and embrace them in their grief, pledging to support them in whatever needs arise.
Autumn and Jamie will return home for now to Kelly’s brother, Todd Nelon and his wife, Rhonda, to begin the hard tasks that lie ahead. Please keep them, the Kistler family, the Haynie family and the family of Melodi Hodges in your prayers.

As many of you have heard by now, my father and mother, Jason and Kelly Nelon Clark, along with my sister, Amber and brother-in-law, Nathan, as well as our dear friends Melodi Hodges, Larry and Melissa Haynie were involved in a tragic plane crash on Friday. BASEBALL STORY with a spiritual lesson--
For a short time, baseball legend Reggie Jackson played for the Baltimore Orioles who were coached by the inimitable Earl Weaver. Once, when Reggie was on deck, Earl told him, “If you get on base, do not steal second.” Reggie got a single, was standing on first base and noticed something. The way the pitcher moved, Reggie realized he could steal on this guy. “And surely Earl would want me to steal if I could.”
So, Reggie stole second base. That’s when he realized his mistake. They walked the batter at the plate and struck out the next guy, and the inning was over. Earl Weaver was livid. “I told you not to steal second, Reggie! But you did it anyway!”
Reggie said, “Why? What difference did it make?”
Weaver said, “Reggie, I know a few things you do not. The batter hitting behind you OWNS this pitcher. They’ve never been able to get him out. But when you stole second, that left first base open and they walked him. Reggie, you took the bat out of his hand!”
— In the same way, friend, you may assume the Lord (the owner and Manager of this team!!!) knows more than you and I. He sees what we do not. So, obeying Him REGARDLESS (of circumstances, what we want, how we feel) is our greatest challenge and biggest test.
--When David prayed, “Lord, keep back Thy servant from presumptuous sins” (Psalm 19), this is what he was referring to—running ahead of the Lord, inserting our wisdom for His will. It’s so important to wait upon thee, Lord.

I had the opportunity to talk with Brett Varvel yesterday about
DISCIPLES IN THE MOONLIGHT which is out in theaters today.
Please excuse the poor quality of my mic. I tested earlier and it was clear, but unfortunately it sounds mooted on this. Fortunately, Brett is very clear, which is most important!

Go see this movie. We need to support the work of our Christian artists!
