First look at series two of DI Ray, coming soon to ITV!
Parminder Nagra will reprise her role as Detective Inspector Rachita Ray for six new episodes.
I found series1 to be very powerful. So looking forward to this new outing.

I re-watched a really good film last night on Sky Cinema called Last Night in Soho which has a great 1960's west end of London setting and a great sound track from that time.
It stars Thomasin McKenzie who plays Ellie and Anya Taylor-Joy (Queen's Gambit & Peaky Blinders) who plays Sandy. There is a great support cast in Matt Smith (Dr Who & The Crown), Terence Stamp, Diana Rigg, (in what marked her final film appearance), Rita Tusingham & Pauline McLynn (Father Ted). All the actors are superb in their roles.
I would highly recommend this film.

Dixon of Dock Green (1955-1976) was a BBC police drama series about daily life at a fictional London police station. The central character, George Dixon, first appeared in the film The Blue Lamp. Dixon was a mature and sympathetic police constable, played by the late Jack Warner in all of the 432 episodes. His catch phrase at the beginning of the show was "Evening all", which changed to "Night all" at the end of the programme.

It was a Classic 90s drama series centered around a group of young lawyers embarking on their careers as they share a flat in South London.

Douglas Is Cancelled is a four part British comedy drama television series starting TONIGHT at 9pm on ITV1, starring Hugh Bonneville, Karen Gillan & Alex Kingston.
Douglas Bellowes (Bonneville) is a widely respected news anchor with a co-anchor Madeline (Gillan) and newspaper editor wife Sheila (Kingston), when he makes an ill-advised joke at a wedding and is faced with cancel culture.

Does anyone remember the actress Lalla Ward, who was a companion of Dr Who from 1979-81?
She played the part of Romana II in 48 episodes of the show. Lalla starred alongside the fourth Doctor, Tom Baker, who she married and later divorced in real life.

Wimbledon has started today, with extensive coverage of the tournament on BBC1, BBC2 & iPlayer over the next two weeks.
Sadly most, if not all, of the British players won't make it past round 3. However, this was not always the case .......
