Check out the NTCC Theater Department’s performance of “Almost, Maine.” The performances begin tonight, Dec 1, at 7:30p and continue through Dec 3 at the Whatley Center. A matinee performance will take place on Dec 3 at 2:30p. $5 for students, military and the elderly and $10 for general admission.

The renovation of the NTCC tennis courts is underway and will be completed by the end of next week. The courts will be dual use for both tennis and pickleball.

The CARE Center has a Dia de los Mu***os ofrenda in IA105 where students, faculty and staff are welcome to place a picture of a loved one. November 2nd will be the last day of Dia de los Mu***os at the CARE Center.

Today is the Day of the Dead, a celebration of those gone before us. There was a buttermilk and tres leches cake in the HUM building to celebrate the day! The CARE Center also has events happening in the IA building, including more cake!

It’s National Mentoring day and the NTCC Care Center is celebrating with pastries and coffee. Stop by to grab a snack and learn more about the peer-mentoring program the Care Center offers to all NTCC students.

“It’s a day to recognize those individuals that are mentors,” instructor of sociology Carmen Shurtleff said. “It’s also a day to encourage others to be mentors.”
