OUR STORY

Imagine your child showed great promise but the schools were failing him? Or, imagine your child had learning needs that an overburdened school system couldn't meet?

Then, you discovered a curriculum that was parent-led, exceeded academic benchmarks and was a delight to use. Would everything begin to change for the better? You bet.

In 2003, Living Books Curriculum launched to meet the growing need for high quality home educational materials that were adaptable and affordable. Initially, our customers came from word-of-mouth. In time we learned email marketing and grew our customer base exponentially. Today, we are an award-winning curriculum known for its friendly, customer focused approach. By 2009 home based, parent-led education had become the fastest growing educational industry in the US. More and more parents were leaving the public school system and Ivy League schools were actively recruiting from the home school community. LBC was flourishing.

We still felt we could do better. So we went to our families and asked them what they needed. They told us they wanted help teaching subjects they are unsure of and mentoring in how to create the best possible learning environment. In 2019 we began to offer two new areas of support: Live Classes and personalized Parent Mentoring. We are creating an online academy using our award winning curriculum and a first-rate learning platform in order to offer Live Classes for children and Mentoring for parents.
