WHO IS READY FOR A BABY SHOWER?!

We are gearing up for our August 'Legendary Breakfast' on August 2 from 7 AM to 9 AM. This month we are highlighting an organization that is saving lives one baby at a time!! Expectant Heart Pregnancy Resource Center-Mount Pleasant is a pregnancy resource center for pregnant women and their families who also provide long-term support for families with children up to three years old.

We want to support their efforts, so we are throwing a Community Baby Shower!! The items MOST needed are diapers (sizes 4, 5, 6 & 7), unscented wipes and any kind of formula. We will also be taking new or gently used maternity clothes, baby clothes and baby furniture.

Our goal was 15 units of blood for our 'Lifeline for the Frontline' Blood Drive benefiting LifeShare Blood Center - Texarkana. You helped us meet that goal and surpass it!!! Donors gave SIXTEEN units!! Woo hoo!! Thank you to all who donated for making the blood drive a SUCCESS!

and the cast and crew of ‘Where E’re the Sun’ by host a live Q&A after the premiere of Herald & Co.’s debut feature length film production. ‘Where E’re the Sun’ is a heart wrenching yet inspiring story of the trials and challenges faced by the traveling preachers of the old American West. Allen’s vision for the film was made possible by a spectacular cast and crew of local East Texas students and educators making the film a true testament to the artistic prowess of the noble East Texan community. Creative Combinator was founded on a vision to see small business flourish and forge community. The Mount Pleasant community has been incredibly supportive of our mission here in East Texas. For these reasons we enthusiastically support the Anderson Towne Crossing - Mount Pleasant project and are excited to see the arts in Mount Pleasant flourish.
