This page has been inactive for nearly a year, but I'm making some changes to return to my passion: radio. However, I won't be giving up photography completely. It will just be put aside for the next three or four years. While I enjoy being creative with ideas, it often requires collaborating with others, which can be challenging. So, until I find the right group of like-minded individuals who share my interest in creating art for art's sake, I'm taking a break from photography and focusing on radio again.
I'll keep you updated on my progress here. Currently, I have a second computer playing music in the background, which will soon become the automation system for the new station. I've already ripped about 1,000 songs into the system, which is more than what a typical FM station would have in rotation. However, I plan to spend the next few months ripping more CDs until I have around 2,000 or more tracks. In fact, the hard drive can hold up to 50,000 songs, and I believe I can achieve very close to that amount.
I understand that having such a large rotation might raise questions about listener preferences. But if things are programmed correctly, everything should sound great. I'll be learning and figuring out all the technical aspects as I go along. In the meantime, I'll provide regular updates on this page/feed. As time goes on, you'll see plenty of updates on the progress of the station itself. I plan to share images of the CDs I'll be ripping into the system and even videos of my DJing, although I must admit, I might be a bit rusty since it's been a while since I've done radio. Nonetheless, I'm excited to share these experiences with you.
