The history of recorded music is now at our fingertips. But the streamer’s algorithmic skill at giving us what we like may keep us from what we’ll love.

On Friday’s KRFP Evening Report, an interview with Sons of Patriarchy Podcast creators Peter Bell and Sara Bader. This podcast goes deep into the nationwide empire pushing theocracy run by Moscow, Idaho pastor Doug Wilson of Christ Church. The Heritage Foundation's Project 2025 is a blueprint for a Christian Nationalist takeover of the US, and the Heritage Foundation announced they will spend One Million dollars lobbying hold out Republican Senators to confirm Pete Hegseth as US Defense Secretary. Hegseth is a member of one of Doug Wilson's congregations under the umbrella of the Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches, told a Christ Church TV show last year the fundamentalist Christian education system is part of what he sees as an oncoming "Spiritual Battle" with the secular world.

Our KRFP 2-week radio archive is back up after a short service interruption. There have been a bunch of important post-election shows with the proper mix of fear and resolve. Check out Peace Radio's Sunday, Nov. 17th 2:00 pm episode. Excellent discussion and they nailed every musical selection. For a musical tsunami suitable for dangerous times, check out the Saturday, Nov. 16th 6:00 pm episode of Mule Reducks.

WOULD BE DICTATOR FRIGHTENS OUR FREE PRESS - IT HAS BEGUN. THE TRUTH WON'T WAIT AND "I TOLD YOU SO!!!" WILL COME TOO LATE.

The Washington Post’s chief executive, Will Lewis, announced on Friday that the newspaper would not endorse a candidate for President this year and would not do so in future Presidential elections. Lewis cast the decision as the newspaper returning to its “roots”; before the nineteen-seventies, the paper rarely endorsed Presidential candidates. Members of the opinion section had already drafted an endorsement of Vice-President Kamala Harris. The decision to not run it, and to end the tradition of issuing endorsements in Presidential elections, was, according to multiple news reports, ultimately made by Jeff Bezos, the Post’s owner, though a spokesperson for the newspaper characterized it as a “Washington Post decision.” Several days before Lewis’s announcement, the editorials editor of the Los Angeles Times had resigned after, she said, the newspaper’s owner, Patrick Soon-Shiong, blocked the Times’ editorial board from endorsing Harris. The decisions by the Times and the Post have raised fears that media publishers, preparing for the possibility of a second Trump Administration, are being cowed by him. Two other L.A. Times editorial-board members have left the paper over this controversy, and a Post opinion editor, Robert Kagan, resigned on Friday.
