Saturday - July 27th, 2024

Pit Gates open at 3:30 - $30
Grandstand Gates open at 4:30 - $15
Trackside Gates open at 4:30 - $30

Drivers Meeting at 6:30 - MANDATORY
Practice Starts at 7, Racing to follow.

DRIVER RULES:
- NATURAL BORN FEMALES ONLY.
- No Previous Race Car Experience within the last 15 years with NO FEATURE WINS
- Karting Experience is allowable
- Safety Equipment such as; seat, helmet, suit, gloves, etc must be sized appropriately for driver. This will be checked pre-race.
- Raceivers Mandatory
- Driver experience can only be challenged BEFORE the race. If anyone sees anybody that should not be competing based on experience, let us know BEFORE THE RACE. We WILL NOT disqualify based on experience after the green flag has dropped.
- Any Driver that cannot maintain control of their car in a safe manner, or that does not obey directions of the Race Director while on track will be asked to pull into the pits.
CAR RULES:
- Any Stock Frame, V8 powered, rear wheel drive car. No trucks, Vans, etc.
- NO CRUSA, Street Stock, or Modified Street type race cars.
- Car MUST BE PRE-APPROVED by Lavonia Speedway no later than 1 week before the date of the race.
- Roll Cage mandatory, must be approved by Lavonia Speedway
- Racing Seat (Properly Mounted) mandatory.
- 5 Point Racing Harness mandatory
- No Glass or stock interiors
- Doors must be welded shut
- All safety rules in Lavonia Speedway Stock 8 rule book will be enforced. www.LavoniaSpeedway.net
- Any Steel Wheel
- Round and Black tires only
- Fire Extinguisher mandatory
- CAR MUST PASS LAVONIA SPEEDWAY SAFETY INSPECTION

Maxxis T-18 Summer Shootout @ 221 Speedway. 1578 Hwy 221 Wrens, GA.
🚨🚨Know before you Go 🚨🚨

1. Friday, July 12th Open Practice
Gates Open: 5 PM ($10 Gate Fee)
Practice is 7:30-11 ($20 per kart)

2. Saturday, July 13th RACE DAY
(UPDATE) Due to projected kart entries we have moved up the event:
Gates open at 10 AM.
Registration for kart and tires will be 11-2. No registration after 2 PM.
Driver’s meeting will start at 3 PM.
Practice will be Immediately after drivers meeting.

🚨Reserved Parking ends tonight at 11 PM.

T-18 Tire Pre-Tech: Can do it Friday night or Saturday (We recommend Friday)
Will be done by the scales Friday night 5-7:30 PM or Saturday 11-2 PM. Please take your tires off your kart and bring them up. $10 per kart fee for tread depth, durometer, and tire marking/scanning. This is mandatory!!!
A. Minimum tread depth after the feature will be 0.080 for all classes except Stock Appearing. Stock appearing will be 0.030.
B. If you have a tires that reads low durometer at pre race tech that tire will be replaced with a new tire. Maxxis dealers will be there to swap them out.
C. NO WASHING TIRES, cutting, or grinding at the track. You will be disqualified. Tires must roll dirty!

4- Air horn will be used on the grid. When the horn blows drivers have 2 minutes to be on the grid ready to go. We will have an FM radio for track communication. Station TBA.

5- Please get your fuel at the Jet Foods in Wrens, GA. The store is the one closest to track off Hwy 1 close to 221.
87 Octane regular gas! ⛽️

6- Engine rules are NKA (NO PORT AND POLISH) this applies to all clone classes.
T-18 Stock Appearing Class for Georgia Maxxis Treaded Kart Racing
* Open clutch and gear
* 400lb weight
Engine must be stock appearing:
* Predator 212 or clone 196 based or comparable block
* 4 bolts stock head with any size valves
* Studs for head are ok
* Porting and polishing allowed
* Any rockers or lifters,can use valve cover spacer for clearance
* Any pushrods
* No welding or epoxy to carb or head or block outside.
* Billet side cover is ok
* Any bore or stroke
* Any cam can be used
* Pull rope or electric crank
* Any billet flywheel or coil
* Gx390 or stock carb no long intakes. (Must be comparable length and width to Arc racing pn:6878 carb spacer)
* Any header but must have muffler
* Any Fuel

7- ALL TECH CALLS ARE FINAL!!
Payouts will be held in any class with tire samples being sent off!

8- Format info:
430 drivers must weight 200lbs.
355, Jr Purple, and 430 class: Only top 20 from qualifying will make feature. 380 & Stock appearing will run qualifiers depending on kart count. The 380 bottom qualifiers will run their own non-qualifying race!

9- There will be plenty of great food at the track restaurant! They will be serving food Friday night and Saturday from lunch on!

10- Over 20k on the line this weekend along with 2 metal pole barns from Armour Metals and McDuffie Metals. Let’s have fun and make it a great weekend at the Diamond of the South! God bless!

Im telling you right now the amount of work jeff freeman has put in to Woodleaf Raceway Park is unmatched!! So make sure to support him for giving us one of the best local tracks in the area!!

Jeff worked over the weekend making improvements to our PA system. He installed new speakers throughout the pits, a new FM transmitter along with other PA upgrades. Track lights were also adjusted and new lights installed in the grid area!

We hope to see you for our Friday night points race #4 on 7/19 and our treaded event on Saturday 7/20. Race flyers are being finalized and will be posted soon!!
