LFMG Music Academy for the youth! 🙌🏽

In The Lab After School Music Program at Delta Library.

“In the Lab” is a free after-school program for young artists interested in song writing, recording, beat production, podcasting and more. This program aims to provide a safe space for youth to strengthen their creative skills and collaborate with a community of young musicians. This program begins on August 21 and will be offered weekly from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. until December 19, except November 27 and November 28. It will be offered on Wednesdays for teens ages 12 to 15 years old, and Thursdays for teens ages 16 to 19 years old. Exited to be able to provide a place where the youth of can come to and create! LFMG Music Academy will be presenting a Showcase! Thursday, May 30th see you at The Temple Events for a night full of inspiration and talent!

BRING ON THE SUMMER FEST is May 25, 2024 at River Bottom Park in Montrose, CO from 11:00am-5:00
pm.
This festival will highlight summer activities, sports and programs for our youth to participate in throughout the summer. There will be over 20 stations with kid and adult outdoor activities plus music, sweet treats, food and drinks. Top of the hour competitions will include duck races, pie eating contest, frozen t-shirt contest,
life jacket scramble, hip hop/dance demos, wave surfing demos. The event will include a regional skateboard competition, and disk golf, co****le, basketball tournaments, a DJ, live music by The One Takers.
This festival is a primary fundraiser for Friends of Youth and Nature (FOYAN) in Montrose and Ouray Country. Funds will cover the costs of getting more kids outside in coordination with staff from Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Montrose Recreation District and other partners. Time outdoors has been proven to help kids build confidence, resilience, promote healthy lifestyles and develop skills for problem solving.
