In July 2017, BHP, in collaboration with the Madison Deane Initiative, is releasing a new edited version of - Pioneers of Hospice: & the Birth of Modern Hospice. Featuring historical footage and rare interviews with, Dame Cicely Saunders, Elisabeth Kübler Ross, Florence Wald, Balfour Mount (with significant contributions from Colin Murray Parkes, Eric Cassell, Don Schumacher, Christopher Kerr and BJ Miller), it captures the story of how and why the modern hospice movement has evolved. Three of these pioneers have passed away since the original interviews - making this living document of their seminal work all the more priceless.
