Whatever the project is, from your commercial brand or to the most important day of your life. DMK Media was created and founded by husband and wife Dennis and Kristen McConnaughhay. Wanting to tell their own story through visual art and photography they picked up their cameras and learned as much as they could about how to create beautiful images for their family to have. As their passion grew an

d their knowledge expanded they decided to create a life around it and open a business, DMK grew from there. Kristen grew up with an art background and attend the Art Institute of Philadelphia to study graphic design. Dennis, on the other hand, grew up being hands on always taking things apart and figuring out how they went back together. Naturally wanting to figure out the camera and later video and really becoming an expert in the process.

Dennis and Kristen have been married for 9 years and together for 13, with two children. They try to live their best life with their kids and explore as much of the world in the process. If you ask them where their favorite place to go is, the answer would be, “a place we’ve never been”. They want to share their visual art with the world and maybe see some cool stuff on the way.

Kristen and I celebrated anniversary #9 with a beautiful walk through one of our many Beautiful state parks here in visitPA. I was inspired by Joseph Kahn and his newest music video with DJ Khaled. This time with butterflies instead of bullets. We had the opportunity to work with local celebrity Clyde Peeling of Clyde Peeling's Reptiland and help UPMC Susquehanna tell his story. What a pleasure it is to meet and work with such amazing people in our community.

Jennifer Engel Design // Moves // Philly

Kristen and I always love it when we get a call from Jenn. It means we get to let our creativity run wild!! Jenn came to us with this idea of being able to wear her jewelry all day in any situation. Kristen wrote up an idea using transitions to help move the story from one scene to the next. With her thought out planning and my ability to execute her vision, we were able to turn this entire project around within 48hrs. Special thanks to Jenn for giving us another opporitunity to work together, you are very talented and we love to capture that. Jermaine for coming through clutch with awesome locations and his beautiful extras, as well as Rikki and her superb makeup skills.
