95.9 VOS-FM Celebrates 60 Years
December 2024 marks a monumental milestone as 95.9 VOS-FM proudly celebrates its 60th anniversary of broadcasting excellence and community connection. For six decades, 95.9 VOS-FM has been a cherished part of Sullivan County and the Catskills; delivering music, news, and entertainment to generations of listeners.
95.9 VOS-FM first launched in Liberty, NY, in December 1964. Over the years, the station has evolved, transitioning through formats such as country, hot adult contemporary, and classic hits. Today, 95.9 VOS-FM continues to play "Sullivan & the Catskills’ Greatest Hits" with a dynamic team of on-air personalities. Eddie Wilson keeps the community company from 6–10 AM, Therese Quinn hosts from 10 AM–3 PM, The TJ Show airs from 3–7 PM, and Throwback Nation Radio rounds out the evening from 7 PM to midnight.
