206 Media was born one year ago on this day 📸⛰️ Here’s the backstory to 206:

June 6, 2023 : After watching my dad and uncle have all the fun on our South African safari hunting their dream animals, I decided it was my turn. I’d never shot a 30-06 rifle before, but after a perfect 300 meter shot on the range that morning, I knew I was ready.

My parents, PH William, and I stalked all morning and all afternoon looking for Impala. Finally, just before sundown, we came across a herd gathered on a cliffside with a beautiful ram in it. We got as close as we could and set up for a 206 meter shot.

This was an incredibly surreal experience being my very first animal to hunt myself, let alone in Africa. I feel honored to now join the long line of hunters and outdoorsmen in my family with this trophy. My experience is now immortalized in the naming of my business and will always remind me where it all began.

One year ago today ✈️🌍 The journey began…

May 30th, 2023 : I set out on the adventure of a lifetime with my family and my camera, totally unaware of how my life was about to be changed. I never imagined in a million years that a vacation to South Africa would turn into the opportunity I have now to break into outdoor and wildlife photography.

May 30th, 2024 : I am so excited to return to South Africa in just one month from now to work with my new friends in the Eastern Cape and capture some epic hunting safaris. I will be posting about my journey every step of the way, so strap in and stay tuned.

Had a fun morning of team waterfowl duck hunting in El Campo, Texas in January to wrap up the season. The wind and duck activity were not in our favor, but that didn't damper the high spirits in the pit blind.

Chill(y) morning in El Campo, TX with fam and friends ☁️🦆 This was my first time to be in a pit blind on a duck hunt and it was tons of fun. Team waterfowl is really entertaining especially with a crew like mine!

Nothing like free climbing a mountain with your family to bring you closer together! ⛰️ As exhausting as it is, I cannot wait to return to the South African mountains later this year and climb them everyday. The views make it all worth it. 📷
