Filming today with Montclair State Alum and students in Paterson. We recreated a father and son playing catch in the 1950s for a welcome video for a museum about the Negro Leagues at the rebuilt Hinchliffe Stadium. We are honoring those men who loved baseball but were locked out of many places because of racism.

Honoring our Veterans today including Marine Sgt. Paddy Brown who fought in Vietnam. We lost him on 9/11 when he was FDNY Captain of Ladder 3.

Our latest film "Eva's Promise" made the Montclair Film Festival! Kudos to my co-producer Susan Kerner, our editor Ryan McCarthy, Camera Justin Reddington McCarthy and Graphics from Ali Macadoodle.

Eva Schloss, posthumous step sister of Anne Frank, remembers her brother Heinz and fulfills a promise she made to him on the train to Auschwitz.

The story was filmed in London and Amsterdam.

The film premieres on Wednesday, October 26th at 7pm at the Clairidge Theater in Montclair.

He died in the north tower of the World Trade Center.

After 9/11 Filmmaker Steve McCarthy set out to find out the life story of his friend. He met Paddy's brother and sister, his many lovers and friends – an actor, a musician, a journalist, an artist, a photographer, a school teacher - and fellow firefighters.

They told of a man haunted by Vietnam, alcoholism, and much, much worse. McCarthy found out a hero can come from the most difficult places imaginable.
