I had the privilege of speaking to a group of local nonprofit leaders in our community. I spoke about the benefits of using social media to promote the work they do and reach the communities they serve!

Time and resources are two of the biggest challenges when it comes to marketing efforts, and there is often a feeling that - unless you have tons of money to throw around, you can’t be successful and have an impact on social media!

The truth is that social media marketing is incredibly accessible, and getting started just looks like sharing the work you do in an authentic way, consistently! As an agency, we work with local businesses and nonprofits to create marketing strategies that honor the work they do, and help grow their reach by creating high quality content that drives engagement!

Each platform has its own audience and user behaviors. But it really comes down to how many you can stay consistent on! If you can only do one post a week on two platforms, do that, if you can post more content that fits more platforms, do that!

Sends per reach is the most important metric right now for the instagram algorithm! Sharing videos and posts have become one of the main ways people use instagram, and so the algorithm is pushing content that accomplishes that roll!
