"Friends of Dorothy" is a new compilation album featuring music and spoken words by q***r artists from all over the world. Available exclusively on vinyl, the album is the brainchild of producer/musician Moon Trent and his partner David Cole.

Here's what I found out about Moon Trent and David Cole ¹ ² ³ ⁴ ⁵:
- *Moon Trent*: An American singer and songwriter from San Francisco who was born in Turlock, California. He is a gay Mexican-American and has recorded full-length albums with the bands Pale, Brown-Star, The Visitors Kimberly, and The JULIAN before launching a solo career in the new millennium. He manages timmi-kat ReCoRDS, a California independent micro-label dedicated to releasing music from mostly obscure but predominantly gay and le***an (q***r) artists.
- *David Cole*: Moon Trent's music and life partner of 32 years, who also works with him in managing timmi-kat ReCoRDS. Cole is also a producer, and together with Trent, they produced the Various Artists' LP "Friends of Dorothy" in 2024.
