There was no celebration, really nothing special 'bout the night except that I was in Nirvana right in tune; Yes I remember it was freezing and the frozen rain reflected in the golden yellow sliver of a moon; I became a dark blue silhouette...Against a silver metal sky I won't forget... Becoming every soul I ever met; I want to do it all again, all again, with you here by me now... I want to do it all again, all again... making it new somehow... I want to do it all... again; Life is a funny dream the way it makes it seem that everything is real and all of us are separated, caught in time; It hardly ever lets you see beyond the veil until the situation and the circumstances finally fall in line; I am a blind man at a window... painting an imaginary view... trying to see the truest face of you; I want to do it all again, all again with you here by me now... In case you too were curious, this online store TEMU's ads many of us have seen proliferating social media, is advertising a microphone that looks like and is named a U87 (a large condenser and classic mic model from Neumann), generally a 3-6k mic depending upon variables, for sale for around 25USD. (From a comedic standpoint, it’s worth the price of admission…)

Mind blown..! Many thanks to everyone who has graced Studio H2O with your talent and trusted us with your project, your song-children, blood, sweat, and tears. As a songwriter, I understand how much goes into developing a song. It is a deep personal dive. And when just one person resonates with the spirit of your work, that's all the gratification needed. Being entrusted to help document the work is a big deal, and we don't take it lightly. We officially opened our doors in around 2012, a boutique writer's studio, and you began to show up from all over the world.
To be included with the other studios nominated is a point of pride by itself, as they are all extremely capable with much to offer their clientele.
Thanks Rob Holbert, Ashley Trice, Steve Centanni, and everyone else at Lagniappe for your generous support to our Gulf Coast music scene.

Many years ago I met this guy who lives a short walk from here and happened to have a backlog of songs he and his brother, Wendell, had penned. Coincidentally we had just put together Studio H2O and christened the maiden voyage with this project, My Brother’s Keepers. This is his birthday week, so a revisit seems appropriate. By the way, he is the most driven prolific songwriter I’ve ever known personally and has recorded a zillion killer albums between then and now, but of course I’m especially partial to this one. Happy birthday and many healthy returns to the day, Eric Erdman.
