Join us for an exciting evening at “Reel Montana Nights” hosted at the Finley Point Barn on August 17th. This event will bring together the rustic charm of Western Montana with the glitz and glamour of the Hollywood red carpet, creating a unique and unforgettable experience for all attendees!

Purpose:

Reel Montana Nights is a fundraising event designed to support our flourishing film industry in Montana. It supports the Montana Youth Education Program, with a mission to introduce Production Assistant courses in high schools across the state. These courses aim to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue careers in the film industry, fostering the next generation of Montana filmmakers.

It will also support the Montana Media Coalition, an organization dedicated to advancing media manufacturing in Montana. By supporting this coalition, you are playing a crucial role in securing the future of Montana’s film industry. The coalition’s efforts to increase tax incentives and attract more film and TV productions to our state will not only boost the local economy but also empower Montanans to tell their own stories through film.

We are committed to fostering diversity and inclusion within the film industry. As such, a portion of the funds raised will be allocated specifically to support indigenous filmmakers. This initiative ensures that indigenous voices are heard and their unique stories are shared, enriching the cultural tapestry of Montana’s film community.

As the next legislative session approaches, it is now more important than ever that we come together to show that this flourishing industry is comprised of Montanas for Montana Film.

Throughout the night you will enjoy live entertainment, activities, and networking with other Montana filmmakers and creatives!

Always seeking growth, she turned her focus to her education in her late 20s, graduating from Columbia University with a degree in psychology. In the years since, she has worked in the fields of both mental health and physical fitness, eventually combining her interest in the two to start her own company, Heide Lindgren Fitness Coaching. Through her coaching, Heide helps people learn to lead healthy and intentional lives without obsessing over their weight. Montana 48 Hour Film Project Announces Competition Dates with Registration Costs Covered

Missoula, MT – June 10, 2024 – The Montana 48 Hour Film Project (MT48HFP), Montana's premier filmmaking event, is pleased to announce the competition dates for this year’s event, set for June 28 to June 30, 2024. Filmmakers from across the state are invited to participate in a dynamic weekend of creativity, camaraderie, and cinema.

This year, thanks to our partnership with the Montana Film Office, the MT48HFP is able to cover the registration costs for all participating teams. This initiative enhances the accessibility of the competition and encourages a diverse range of filmmakers to bring their creative visions to life.

To claim their registration waiver, team leaders must contact Montana 48HFP Producer Kirk Nordenstrom at [email protected] for further instruction.
