RACISM IN YOUR FACE OPENLY NO APOLOGIES FOR IT. Stop telling me the GOP is not racist when they openly use racist talking points. DEI is about leveling the playing field with qualified people. Yet they push this game of unqualified people of color being given opportuniteis.

We have seen white men screw up in important jobs and you never questioned it. Yet when a man or woman of color messes up it's cause they are not qualfied? Despite having the same and sometimes better qualifications.

YOU KEEP SAYING IT'S NOT RACISM. YET IT IS AND YOU ARE OKAY WITH IT.

The Tennessee Republican also used the initialism for "diversity, equity and inclusion" in describing the Secret Service director, telling her she's a "DEI horror story."

Responsibility of a host.

When you do an open mic at some venues, the owner wants a show to keep people in the seats. BUTTS IN THE SEATS BUYING DRINKS.

At a mic I hosted a while ago, a comic commented how I would do close to 5 minutes between comics sometimes. Here's what he didn't know cause he never hosted.

A hosts job is to reset the room. If the previous comic stunk up the stage, the hosts has to reset the room so the next comic can come in and do their work.

Doing an open mic with a mix of vets and newbies can be daunting. SO WHEN A NEWBIE STINKS UP THE STAGE, the host has to work to reset the room.

The next time you get mad at the host for reseting the room. You should be upset with the comic who stank up the room with bad jokes.

Dear Comics, Bookers, Show Producers, and others,

Let me be very clear: your political views don't bother me. What bothers me is how quickly many of you resort to throwing insults. What bothers me is how many of you think you can speak to anyone who disagrees with you in any manner you want.

Earlier, a comic posted something regarding the so-called assassination attempt. Comedian Victoria Arstein commented as if her words and opinions mattered more.

I have defended this woman because she gave me opportunities when I was just starting out. I have watched her tell Black people to stop talking about racism during the riots. On many occasions, she told me on NY Post threads to stop talking about race.

That said, when October 7th happened, she started insisting that people need to stand by Israel. She is just one of many comics who use their platform to tell people what they must do for their comfort.

As a Black American, I don't take lightly to being spoken to in a condescending tone. I refuse to allow any of you who think it's the 1950s to speak to me as if I am supposed to cower to you.

I will give you the same energy. I don't like Trump, yet I have done shows with Trump lovers and kept it civil. When you get to a point where you think you can speak to me however you want, you have two options: walk away and leave me alone or stand there and let me give you the same energy.

Yes, I'm putting it out there. I don't care. Let me say it again: I don't care. Some of you better learn that I ain't shucking and jiving for nobody. I will give you the same energy you give me.

I AM NOT YOUR F'N NEGRO. YOU SPEAK TO ME WITH THE SAME RESPECT YOU WANT IN RETURN. YOU DON'T LIKE ME OR MY POLITICAL SOCIAL VIEWS ASK ME HOW MUCH I CARE?

I was baffled by women saying, "They would choose a bear." To be fair, if every man you meet makes you feel like you should choose a bear, it's not the men; it's you. YOU ARE CHOOSING BAD MEN!!!

There are bad people in life. If I created a meme and started saying, "I WOULD CHOOSE A WOLVERINE," you would think I was crazy.

And watching men co-sign this with "Hey, I get it" or "YEAH YOU GO GIRL" is laughable. You're hoping to co-sign stupid sayings to get laid or stay in the good graces of these blame-factory people.

Gen X is the last generation where you learned to have feelings but separated them from stupidity. Every generation after is doing a deep dive into stupidity with virtue signaling for the sake of sounding like you are standing up for something.

I was talking to Anthony Crescenzo about mics performing etc. When we talk we often discuss all about the comedy life and just catch up on life in general.

We started talking about how people always compliment him on how he shares information. He is not a gatekeeper, or trying to do the you give me this I'll give you that game.

Him and I have that in common. I know a lot from listening and learning. I know a ton from advice given. Some of it works and some of it has not. Yet I freely give advice and help if I can.

My job is not to hinder someones progress. My job is not to act like I'm better than other comics. My job was to create a platform and allow other people to shine!!!

CREATE A PLATFORM AND ALLOW OTHER PEOPLE TO SHINE!!!

When you enter a room, while you are working on your material and then shaking hands you should feel grateful. You should then be willing to recommend other comics who might work in that space Or reach out to a comic and say, hey this producer, promoter is looking for comics.

It doesn't hurt your brand or who you are to give more to this craft than take away. STOP BEING A GATEKEEPER AND START SHARING THE WEALTH!!!

MORE THAN ENOUGH TO GO AROUND...

Donald Trump wants you to believe he’s not racist. His new strategy is to deny any involvement with Project 25. What’s crazy is that if you look up Project 25, its creators, and its funding, it’s an all-star lineup of Team Trump.

But he posts that he has nothing to do with it, and you believe him? Some of his biggest Black and white supporters want to roll back civil rights legislation from the last 60-plus years.

They started with affirmative action, then attacked CRT, and mixed in DEI. Their agenda is to revert to a time when companies could deny employment, banks could deny funding, and realtors could deny housing based on color, sexual orientation, or whatever else. They call that freedom.

The sad part is that Charlie Kirk and that angry man running for governor in NC are claiming that MLK was a communist and bad for the Black community.

The only problem with the progress the Black community has made is people seeking to destroy it while claiming they are not racist, biased, bigoted, or prejudiced.

The same people telling me to be more like MLK are voting for a man who wants to do away with civil rights and bring back segregation. And many of you will say it isn’t so. Many of you are not smart.

You don’t look up information on Trump. You use his purposeful sound bites. You go to pro-right-wing pages and believe everything he says. That’s your right as an American.

It’s pretty sad that we just celebrated July 4th, which is supposed to be about freedom, and many of you think of freedom as hatred against people not like you. You co-sign the hate and ignorance of Trump because you refuse to look up information.

You research information when buying a car, getting loans, and buying a house. Any big purchase you make, yet here is a man promising to reshape America back to the proverbial 1950s in 2024, and you look at me and smile in my face and other people of color’s faces and call me brother or friend? WE ARE NOT THE SAME!

Telling me I have to choose between two men who should be out to pasture as our future leaders?

DISGUSTED…
