The possibility that it will be published again, perhaps under a new name that is less regional, will be influenced by the level of interest in shown here at this page. For now, it is a place to peruse clippings from vintage editions. Volume I, No. 1 was written, illustrated, designed and produced entirely

by Pete Wagner, with the exception of one half-page comic by Osborne and a half-page ad. Volume II was published in the fall of 1981 through June of 1982 and consisted of five issues and was an artifact of the 1985 Brain Trust, a street theater gang which was organized or organized itself in cahoots with Wagner after several of its participants met Wagner hawking his first book, BUY THIS BOOK, an activist manual which the Brain Trust put into action for about a year. The subsequent volumes, published between 1990 and 1993, were jam-packed with avant garde cartoons and comics, written pieces and some syndicated satirical material. was usually bimonthly with a break during the summer and dead of winter. It was distributed in Minneapolis but had a number of subscribers around the country. Only the first issue was heavily focused on Minneapolis, the others were almost entirely aimed at a national audience.
