Titan Holsters

Titan Holsters High quality, handcrafted leather holsters. I make high quality, handcrafted IWB (Inside the Waistband) and OWB (Outside the Waistband) leather holsters.

I use the best leather for a long lasting holster and wax braided threading which is extremely tough and will last a lifetime. I stand behind the quality of my work and if the leather happens to tear or the threading snaps somehow, then if I can't fix the issue, I will replace the holster with a brand new one for free! I put 100% effort into every holster and customer service is my number one prio

rity. Feel free to click on the "photos" tab and albums within to see the different dyes that I use and how they look on a completed holster. Also notice the Crimson Trace Laser album, holsters can be molded to accommodate those Crimson Trace products....as well as the Surefire XC1 tac-light.

I've been working on something a little different over the last few months when I've had a chance, trying to create my own style and seeing what works and results in a Titan quality craftsmanship carrier that customers have come to expect.. These are my new handcuff carriers. The cuffs fit into them a certain way, seeing as how cuffs have a different symmetrical aspect to them. They fit nice a snug and don't rattle around in the carrier other than the chain itself. These will be $58, that includes shipping.

Now that is a beautiful looking Yaqui Slide set up. ;)
I'm still experimenting with these, but wanted people to know that there will be a higher quality option on the market than what's typically out there.

It's been a while since I've added some photos to the albums. I'm always hard at work on leather, but don't always have time to show it off. I get quite a bit of business through word of mouth, it's why I don't have to post on a regular basis.

Do you ever really have a day off when you have a gig on the side... ;) It's all good when it's something you enjoy.

Just got done airbrushing this set for a Springfield XDs with a 3.3" barrel. Have to let it dry and then continue on with the process. The completed gear will be a bit darker than how it looks presently. Still have to recondition the leather and apply the seal coat. It'll be an IWB/OWB holster with snap retention along with a matching spare mag carrier. This set will be available for purchase for $195 when completed, that includes priority shipping. Just message if interested. You'd still have the ability to choose what color stitching you'd like, whether it blends in (brown stitching) or the flashier accent stitching (light tan). This will be a beautiful looking set!

To the point!

“Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force. If you want me to do something for you, you have a choice of either convincing me via argument, or force me to do your bidding under threat of force. Every human interaction falls into one of those two categories, without exception. Reason or force, that’s it.

“In a truly moral and civilized society, people exclusively interact through persuasion. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.

“When I carry a gun, you cannot deal with me by force. You have to use reason and try to persuade me, because I have a way to negate your threat or employment of force. The gun is the only personal weapon that puts a 100-pound woman on equal footing with a 220-pound mugger, a 75-year old retiree on equal footing with a 19-year old gangbanger, and a single gay guy on equal footing with a carload of drunk guys with baseball bats. The gun removes the disparity in physical strength, size or numbers between a potential attacker and a defender.

“There are plenty of people who consider the gun as the source of bad force equations. These are the people who think that we’d be more civilized if all guns were removed from society, because a firearm makes it easier for a mugger to do his job.

“That, of course, is only true if the mugger’s potential victims are mostly disarmed either by choice or by legislative fiat — it has no validity when most of a mugger’s potential marks are armed. People who argue for the banning of arms ask for automatic rule by the young, the strong and the many, and that’s the exact opposite of a civilized society. A mugger, even an armed one, can only make a successful living in a society where the state has granted him a force monopoly.

“Then there’s the argument that the gun makes confrontations lethal that otherwise would only result in injury. This argument is fallacious in several ways. Without guns involved, confrontations are won by the physically superior party inflicting overwhelming injury on the loser. People who think that fists, bats, sticks or stones don’t constitute lethal force watch too much TV, where people take beatings and come out of it with a bloody lip at worst.

“The fact that the gun makes lethal force easier works solely in favor of the weaker defender, not the stronger attacker. If both are armed, the field is level. The gun is the only weapon that’s as lethal in the hands of an octogenarian as it is in the hands of a weightlifter. It simply wouldn’t work as well as a force equalizer if it wasn’t both lethal and easily employable.

“When I carry a gun, I don’t do so because I am looking for a fight, but because I’m looking to be left alone. The gun at my side means that I cannot be forced, only persuaded. I don’t carry it because I’m afraid, but because it enables me to be unafraid. It doesn’t limit the actions of those who would interact with me through reason, only the actions of those who would do so by force. It removes force from the equation … and that’s why carrying a gun is a civilized act.”

I do have 2 sets of gear (holster w/matching single mag carrier) that are completed and for purchase. I completed these on the side, they turned out beautifully.

One is for a Springfield XDs .45acp with a 3.3" barrel. It's a single belt clip IWB with a matching single belt clip mag carrier. The set for the XDs is $160 ($115 for the IWB, and $45 for the mag carrier).

The other I embossed for a G***k 19, although it will fit a G***k 23 and a 32; all 3 of those models have the same dimensions. It's my deluxe model, it incorporates everything that I can make into its design. A double belt clip IWB/OWB with snap retention, and it accomodates the Surefire XC1 or the Crimson Trace Universal Railmaster laser attached to the picatinny rail. There is no slop in the holster fit if the firearm doesn't have anything attached to the rail, something quite unique to my leather gear. The G***k set is $245 ($200 for the deluxe holster, and $45 for the mag carrier).

My holsters do not close up under the force of the belt when the firearm is drawn, another unique feature of my all leather gear. All handcrafted, all high quality!

Priority shipping is included in the price.

I've included 2 photos of the XC1 and the Crimson Trace laser attached to a G***k 32.

I don't post often enough to stay on people's news feeds on a daily or weekly basis like most other crafters and businesses, and with Facebook it seems if you aren't posting nearly on a daily basis then you don't exist; out of sight out of mind type of effect. However, rest assured, I've always got some kind of holster project going on and yes, I am still here. 😉

Here's some photos of some of the gear that has kept me busy in my spare time, seeing as how I make the gear on the side of my regular full time job. I enjoy what I do with the leather, seeing it start from a roll of veg tanned hide and ending up being a sculpted and beautifully functional piece of firearm gear to help keep yourself and your loved ones safe while out and living life.

The photo with the R***r revolver was something new and more or less a "one off" creation. Someone I knew wanted a pocket holster for his revolver. He had a previously fabricated leather pocket holster from another maker for a different style of pants/pocket, but needed something new for cargo pants and contacted me. He sent the old holster along with a perfect sized template for the cargo pocket that he wanted the new pocket holster to fit in. My R***r fit into the old holster perfectly, so I knew I could use it to mold the new leather pocket gear. It turned out remarkably well and functioned beautifully. I may have to make one for myself and my R***r. 😁

Even though a ton of people have been moving to 9mm after the FBI caliber test results surfaced, I still love me a good punch caliber, puts a smile on my face every time! The 10mm is a viable heavy predator protection caliber so long as you're using full power hard cast lead bullet cartridges, deep pe*******on is what you're looking for and the 10mm will give it to you...along with nice magazine capacity to boot.

I just finished up this beauty of a snap retention, IWB/OWB combo, holster (which accomodates the Surefire XC1 tac-light or Crimson Trace Universal Railmaster laser) and mag carrier matching pair. A perfect fit and beautiful color combination. I went with threading that blends in on this particular creation, even though I love the lighter tan contrast threading that I also use on much of my personal gear.

This particular firearm (the G***k 20 10mm) would be a great hiking and hunting sidekick to have with that can take down some large game and save your rear if something decides to come hunt you instead. ;) Although, if you're using lead bullets, hard cast or not, a replacement aftermarket barrel might be in order when using a G***k. I've read that it's more about the lead fouling that can occur in G***k factory barrels due to their specific rifling which can build up and increase internal pressures while the fouling continues. I've read the industry articles on one end of the spectrum, and personal accounts on the other. Many catastrophes are induced with the use of improper hand loads as well.

Always carry, and be someone who represents our community in a positive and helpful light.

This new optic accommodating holster is working perfectly and feels no different on my hip than my previous standard iron sight firearm gear. Obviously, I'll have the shirt untucked to conceal the firearm, concealed is how I prefer to carry. Although, I'll typically shake the hand and verbally thank someone I see open carrying if they're representing us in a respectable manner, which most usually do.

One of the beautiful aspects of my gear is that the "break in" timeframe of the leather is near non existent. The pocket of the holster is formed and reinforced with 2 layers of leather on both sides of the firearm. It does not crush under the force of the belt when worn Inside the Waistband. I mold the reinforcing secondary layer of leather so it folds over the top of the slide and under the trigger guard. No one else does what I do and it's why people are amazed when they have the finished product in their hands. It's tedious and the lines and edges have to elegantly match. Hand stitched all the way!

This holster is already beginning to naturally bend and mold to my specific body and already feels great at the 4 o'clock position after carrying it twice. I strive to make the best!

Stay safe by being aware of your surroundings, carry, use your head, and pray you'll never have to use the tool in self defense....but train as though that day could arrive. Professional training from a competent instructor will make all the difference! Train, train, and train some more.

Here's the finished red dot optic accommodating holster attempt, and I'm very pleased with how it turned out and feels. It has a perfect fit and the firearm with optic slides in and draws out with no issues. When I started, I was weary that the optic ready holster would have to be significantly wider than normal due to the protective molding hump that envelopes the lens of the optic. Turns out, as one can see in the comparison photo, that wasn't the case.

I have the Vortex Venom on the G***k 19 mos, hence the "G19 Venom" embossment into the leather.

I haven't posted in a while, but I'm always busy. I recently acquired a red dot optic ready firearm, the G***k 19 MOS, and I was seriously impressed with the precision accuracy the red dot provides on a handgun for longer range shots. So I had to brainstorm as to how I'd fabricate an all leather holster for it.

I'm not a big fan of kydex. It serves it's purpose, but it doesn't feel as solid and as comfortable as my gear IMO. I've decided to mold the leather over the optic lens. One, to help protect the optic itself; two, so the holster can still sit low in the waistband with an aggressive cant. I don't think having the holster molded to place the optic above the waistline would make it as firmly placed and held against the body. The higher the firearm sits, the more it's weight is above the beltline causing it to not sit firmly against the body as well as it does when it sits lower. This is an educated guess that will be determined through practical application. I'll find out soon enough.

I'll post the finished holster in roughly a week when it's done.
