Meet our Co-Treasurer, Wren!
Hi, I’m Wren! I’m a graphic design major with a minor in developmental psychology. I’m currently a sophomore at the U. I work alongside Shreya as a treasurer for StudioU! My favorite projects from StudioU are forlorn and Lively Mind.

Why StudioU?
I joined in my second semester to help my friend create his short film, but was too anxious to join meets just yet. Once I pushed myself the next semester to join meets, I realized how much I loved the environment StudioU created. I enjoy being on a set and learning more about what makes films, as I make personal content. I also enjoy the people I’ve met through this club!

Hello ! I am Shreya, a freshman majoring in Math and Computer Science. I help with filling out forms and managing finances alongside Wren. Fun fact — I absolutely love analog photography (aka film photography)… I enjoy every part of the process….shooting, developing, and printing. My favorite projects so far has been Lively mind and Stevenson Laundromat , I got to meet a bunch of amazing people and use some incredible professional-grade equipment.

Meet our Executive Producer, Gabe!
Junior, Math and Physics Major.

My name is Gabe, and I work on the project planning and communication side of StudioU. My job is to help things run smoothly and build connections between leadership and our projects. My favorite movie is “Everything, Everywhere, All At Once”, closely followed by “Back To The Future”. I am a nerd, I love trying new food (recently had some kimbap for the first time, delicious!), and I can be quite eccentric.

Why StudioU?
What I love about being part of StudioU is being a part of the creative process. Seeing people put together a project they’ve been putting their all into is an awesome thing to witness, and being able to help keep such projects going is the why I am on leadership.

I didn’t have much filmmaking experience, and I wanted to get involved in and learn more about filmmaking on campus without having to make a huge time commitment or compete in anything. StudioU was perfect! I was able to choose my own role, and learn so much in a super casual and fun environment.
