Weekend in Quebec!
Spending time with friends is deeply fulfilling... which is why we've done it so much this year! Seriously. Our budget is just about exhausted.

On this trip we visited some of Aaron's friends (they're not on social media) and they showed us some of their favorite spots. And since I know you all love - I figured I'd share some moments from in Quebec. They're a fabulous located on a small island just outside of City. They've got food, they've got views, and they've got some really delicious and inventive wines! There were definitely some flavors in our wine flight that were new to our palate and we enjoyed every sip! 🥂

A Pride moment with our Senator Amy Klobuchar!
Quick story: a few years ago I got to visit Washington DC as part of a policy fellowship. We made appointments with Senator Klobuchar's staff and they were incredibly professional and attentive. They took notes on all of our concerns and we all left feeling very pleased with our representation in the Senate. So when I saw her at I had to run over and thank her for her work! ... end of quick story 😁

I didn't know that we needed a new closet system until we got a new closet system! Our old closet had old hardware and a disorganized system. This new closet has organized our clothes and - surprisingly - helped to organize our lives.

We completed a project!
It's a great place to sit around ... read a book ... get some of my best thinking done in here really! 🚽👍🏾

When we moved in there was no shower and a hole in the ceiling. Now we’ve got an airy almost-oasis that feels bigger than it really is.

Meet Pike!
Our bestest boy is the reason that we moved from an updated condo into a single family home with lots of needs. Pike likes warm spots in the sun, walks around the neighborhood, and prolonged periods of eye contact 👁️👁️
