Fresch Fest 2024 is tomorrow night, August 17 at and we’re nearly jumping for joy already. , , ._, , and will be taking over the stage in outfits styled by local brands , , , , and .

Did we forget to mention that every Fresch Fest 2024 ticket buyer gets a copy of Fresch Magazine 2024, a zine that features all of the musicians in the show, before they run out? (How cool, right?)

Step out of the way ladies and gents. are coming through - the front door of for Fresch Fest 2024, that is.

The Twin Cities’ favorite Joan Jett-approved grunge- pop band will be returning to Fresch Fest for their second time this Saturday. (If you didn’t know, the band played the Minnesota Yacht Club music festival earlier this summer and was told by the queen of rock herself that “y’all rock.” Need we say more?) will be styling the boys for their set at the show, and their mosh pit-worthy tunes will be played alongside the sounds of , , , and ._. All local music all night long. Can we get a “hell yeah?”

Three, two, one… Cheese, !

When it comes to the Spanish-guitar-infused summertime sounds of the local Twin Cities indie group, what isn’t there to smile about? The five-person band keeps audiences entwined in their jazzy, lighthearted, sway-worthy sounds through a variety of ways: catchy lyrics, wavy instrumentals, and an on-stage presence that invites audiences to dance along in the crowd - to name a few.

The neutrals. The earth tones. If there’s one thing that the local Northeast Minneapolis vintage shop knows how to do, it’s how to make a cool, local band look good. (We know from experience!) All looks showcased on Honeybutter were curated by .moran and , two of the smiling faces you’ll find manning the shop.

Extra, extra! ’s spell-binding sound and movement-focused performance may put you into a trace at Fresch Fest 2024 - and we’re all about it.

The Minneapolis-based performer’s hypnotic crescendos and mesmerizingly acute stage presence brings dance and movement together to let audience members have a taste of the behind-closed-door music coming to life in our very own backyard. (That’s right folks - it’s not all indie rock!)

Surprise! are playing Fresch Fest (again)!

You heard it here first, folks. The Twin Cities’ favorite boy band is back in town and they’ll be taking over ’s stage on August 17 at Fresch Fest 2024.

If you don’t know who the are, here are a few things to note:
1. Their whirlwind of punk-rock bass lines, addictive drum and guitar solos, and powerhouse vocal vibrato will have you pulled into a mosh pit within minutes. Be warned.
2. , , , and .klem make up the all-femme and q***r Twin Cities-based rock group.
3. The Gully Boys played Fresch Fest 2023 and they’re coming back again. Will this round of Gully Boys X Fresch beat last year? You’ll have to be there to find out.

Let’s kick off the 2024 season of Fresch with . (See what we did there?)

Mike’s rustic, leather-wrapped vocal talent and miss-matched red and black checkered Vans meant one thing. For a musician who makes music that resembles the soundtrack of a daydream, her photoshoot needed to be in the same setting. In the woods. Near a lake. At sunset.

Did you notice Mike’s outfits? How could you not. , the Uptown Minneapolis-based vintage shop, gave free reign to let Mike chose looks that not only spoke to her own unique style, but that brought that style to life for her Fresch 2024 shoot and upcoming set at Fresch Fest. Everyone say “We love you, Love Token Vintage & Handmade!”

Pssst! Here are three fun facts about , Minneapolis’s favorite boy band, who played Fresch Fest in 2023.

1. If the boys put on an all-local Twin Cities music festival, the lineup would include , , , , , , and a reunion of Tony Peachka.

2. Their go-to karaoke song as a band is a tie between Movin’ Out by Billy Joel or Shrek 2’s iconic opening tune, Accidentally In Love by Counting Crows.

3. The band came to be when drummer and lead vocals and guitarist met as coworkers at Ragstock in Uptown.

If isn’t the birthplace of a Rock N’ Roll band, we don’t want it.
