City of Brooklyn Park, MN on Monday swore-in its youngest member to the city council after Amanda Cheng Xiong took the oath of office to represent the East District.

Amanda Cheng Xiong was on Monday, Jan. 6, 2025 sworn-in as Brooklyn Park's youngest city council member. She was born and raised in the city by her Hmong parents.
