Last weekend I set of to take photos of places I haven’t seen before. I usually take day trips driving up north from the city’s and I drive back in the same day so I don’t have much time to visit these places. I had an extremely hard time trying to find this tower. To get there you have to have a good off road vehicle (my jeep) and even then it’s scary driving over fallen trees and streams. (My jeep is scratched so bad and I bottomed put on a rock) The way there is full of “Y” intersections and is almost impossible to navigate because of lack of internet for navigation. Lucky for me, on the way I meet and her friend who both were lost as well trying to find the tower. With a little help of flying my drone to scout for the tower and splitting up to search for it WE FINALLY FOUND IT!!! Just before sunset. A journey I will never forget!

Thinking I would have to hike 17 miles on flooded trails I felt defeated. But then, hope. I found another entry point to the trail that required me to canoe across a lake to access the start of it. From there it was only a easy 3 mile hike! As you can see, I took that option and it was well worth all the trouble! 🛶🌲

Some more photos from this weekend. FYI I will be going on a boundary waters trip starting June 22nd and frequent posts are on the horizon. I haven’t been posting much because I had to get the bag lol. Also idk I feel like I got this thing where It’s hard to get the ball moving in photography but when I get it going I pop off. It’s like momentum based idk, you know? Lol why are you still reading this?

The 2.5 hour boat ride in the rain was well worth it. The rain really brought out the colors of the moss and kept the other tourist inside. 🌧
