When Lizi joined Storysage, one of her only requests was for us to find the occasional project where we could film animals. I'm very proud to say that we delivered on that promise.

Last Friday, our team visited Prairie Drifter Farm to film a testimonial video for Solar United Neighbors.
Working with Solar United Neighbors over the past two years has been amazing. We have covered three different stories on how rural small business owners are benefiting from the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) Grant.
If you are a solar installer, I highly recommend looking into Solar United Neighbors’ Ready, Set, Solar REAP Guide Book. For the three stories we have covered so far, every single business owner has said it was an invaluable resource in their ability to obtain the REAP Grant.
We wrapped production on a residential solar project highlight video for Minnesota Solar Energy Industries Association (MnSEIA) last week!
Working with solar installers is always inspiring, especially seeing the widespread economic impact of solar energy in Minnesota. Solar energy not only lowers electric bills for all homeowners, regardless of economic class, but also provides excellent job opportunities for local Minnesotans.
Solar is not the future. It is the now.

We had the honor of filming Tinta Wita Wacipi this Saturday for a project we are partnering with to create.
We were swept away by the dedication each competitor showed towards their craft, and we were honored to attend such a culturally important event.

We had a great week filming SolaDeck's “Product Overview” video for their new 0599 model.
SolaDeck has been leading the US market in PV Junction Boxes since 2007 and truly understands what it means to make a market-dominant product.
It was also great to work alongside SolaDeck partners, Fox Valley Tool & Die Inc. and All-Color Powder Coating, Inc., to see the full process of how their product is 100% American-made.

Our team was out at Commers this week capturing the last of their footage for their About Us video 🎬
We love working with local Minneapolis businesses focused on bettering our communities!
Commers has not only done an exceptional job for the last 75+ years providing clean drinking water to our Minnesota residents, but they have also been a remarkable example of how to grow and retain great technicians.
This marks the last project for us for the next two weeks as our team lead, Colton, departs for his wedding and honeymoon!
We can’t wait to pick back up right when he returns on June 16th!

This project has been a tremendous feat of uniting the worlds of conservation and sustainability. We are extremely honored to be playing a small role in telling their story.

Started production on Wolf River Electric's Company Story and FAQ Video Library on Tuesday, and filmed / photographed yesterday at the Capitol.

We kicked off our production season this week in Baroda, MI, with an inspiring story for Solar United Neighbors.
It's a privilege to serve the sustainability sector and witness how small businesses leverage sustainable practices to enhance their operations, reduce tax liabilities, and boost revenue.
I won't spoil the details, but Adam Schaller of Lakeshore Die Cast Inc. has achieved remarkable results—completely eliminating his electric bill, achieving a 6-year ROI, and outbidding overseas competitors—all thanks to a solar installation at his rural small business.
Stay tuned to Solar United Neighbors' website to learn how Adam and other rural small business owners are utilizing the U.S. Department of Agriculture REAP grant and solar tax incentives to revitalize manufacturing in the United States.

Hi, I’m Lizi!
I’m excited to share that I have recently joined the Storysage team as a second shooter 🎥📸
While growing up, my dad used to wear a shirt that said, “It’s hard to hate someone whose story you know” and that really stuck with me. In my 10 years of filmmaking experience, I’ve personally seen how cinematic storytelling can bridge gaps, elevate success, and unify communities.
As a married mother of two, it is one of my core missions to leave this planet better than I found it. And at Storysage, it’s our core purpose to better the world through cinematic storytelling. To say that our values align would be an understatement!
I can’t wait to connect with all of you in the months to come!

While filming a documentary in Africa, one of my crew members brought a solar battery pack to charge our equipment. It turned out to be a lifesaver! The remote village we stayed in had little access to electricity so having solar was a lifesaver. At the end of the trip, we left it with the villagers, and it still brings a smile to my face remembering their excitement.
The team was out at filming a testimonial video for our partners at this Saturday.

Our little family at Storysage is growing! And there are few announcements I’d like to make.
First, I want to take a quick second to thank everyone who has followed my journey this far. Your love and support has, and continues to mean, the world to me. Although my time for friends and family has been limited these last few years, I hope you know that each of you hold a special place in my heart and will be represented in the future stories we will tell.
Second, our team here is growing! Over the last three weeks our team of one (plus my lovely fiancé Erin and office assistant Cooper 🐶) has grown to a team of three. Keep an eye out for our new team members’ introduction posts in the upcoming days!
With the growth of our team, we have also elected to assign ourselves company roles. This helps us stay organized and gives us clear objectives we can track each and every day. I am happy to share that my new company title is “Creative Director.”
As the Creative Director, I will be the creative lead on all our client projects. This means I will still be the primary producer, cinematographer, and main editor; however, I will start to remove myself from the sales and minor editing work involved in operating our business. Similarly, at the end of the day, my main job will be to ensure we don’t go out of business 😊
