To finish off the semester, exams have begun.

Last week, papers were passed out for your parents to sign to exempt you from exams if your class does not have a final exam. If you have an exam for your class or classes, you must attend these designated times for that class block.

We hope you enjoy these last couple of days before winter break begins!!!

🎅Secret Santa!

Newspaper participated in our very own Secret Santa. Every year, we participate in this holiday activity of exchanging gifts without knowing who the gift giver is. Today wasn't like any other as the room filled with holiday joy and spirit! 

There are many other holiday activities you can participate in that create the same effect: white elephant, gingerbread houses, gift-giving, and snow day fun!

Today, LCHS students took a tour of the University of Virginia led by Mr Wilson and Mr Slaughter.
Students took the whole day off to learn about the history of UVA, their student life, and view the campus. Thanks to UVA's own students, upcoming graduates were able to ask questions and get a better insight into what the life at UVA would look like.
Fun Fact: Did you know that at UVA, students are referred to the grade level by "first year" and "fourth year" instead of freshman and senior because Thomas Jefferson believed that there was always more to learn
