Clackamas High School's Rhyan Mogel was recently named as one of 14 Oregon high school basketball players on the list of nominees for the 2023 McDonalds All-American Game.

The girls basketball teams at Clackamas and Gladstone were ranked No. 1 in the latest OSAA Today coaches' polls for their respective classifications. Meanwhile, Putnam and La Salle Prep are listed among the 10 best teams in Class 5A.

The La Salle Prep boys basketball team took down Putnam on Wednesday night to open Northwest Oregon Conference play at 1-0. Nick Robertson led the way with 18 points for the Falcons.

Congratulations to Milwaukie High School senior Logan Law, who won a silver medal yesterday at the OSAA 5A Boys Cross Country State Championships at Lane Community College in Eugene.
