Tried this new setting spray and it's a no for me. I give it a 3 out of 10. But hey, might work for others. So far, I only seen people talk about it, but haven't seen anyone share a wear test. Might have to try it again with minimal, very minimal, amount of this.

Pros:
• Really does dries in 3 seconds like it claims
• Looks really good when you initially apply and it sets.
• It comes out as a fine even mist
• It's an aerosol spray so no constant pumping
• Doesn't transfer

Cons:
• Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I applied my makeup like normal around 2pm and set it with this. By 9pm, my makeup around my tzone literally cracked and caked off horribly. Just rolled right off if I lightly wipe it (almost half the makeup there was already gone)
• It felt like I sprayed hairspray on my face, plus the strong alcohol like smell was suffocating. Had to hold my breath for a good 4-5 seconds after I sprayed
• Usually if I get other setting spray on my baby hair around my hairline, I can still work around it. But with this, my baby hair was super stiff, as if I spray a strong hold hairspray on it. It was crusty!
• Within 4 hrs, my face felt so dry/dehydrated, even through sweating. Felt like my face was suffocating under this.
• The cake was real 4 hrs in

Like I mentioned above, maybe I just did something wrong and maybe it might work for some people. It just didn't work for me. I really did like how it looks initially but the wear just wasn't cutting it. I really wanted to love it 😥

I usually take selfies with the front camera but decided to take one with the back camera today. Obviously the picture quality is way better then selfie mode but I was still shocked at how much better.

Double cleansing is a MUST for makeup girlies and this combo has been my favorite lately. Instantly after I wash my face with these, my skin feels super soft. My pores are also looking much cleaner. If you've been into Korean skincare lately, like many of us, you've gotta give this a try if you aren't already.

I absolutely love this combo! I use the cleansing oil on my dry face to cleanse off all my makeup, even my cluster lashes. I rinse all that off, then use the heartleaf cleansing foam to wash my face of any residue. Note: it does not come out as foam. Squeeze a dime size into your wet palms and rub in between your hands to turn it into foam.

I mainly do this at night only. In the morning, I only use the heartleaf cleansing foam. But I'm telling ya, my skin feels super clean without feeling dry or dehydrated after this.

For my girlies who want the fluffy brow look but something a little more softer and quicker, this one is for you.

In my previous video, it was a longer process to create a fluffy, sharp, I'm ready for you type of brow that's not gonna budge through any weather. It's def not a quickie.

In this video, it's still fluffy but it's softer and quicker, with just a hard brow pencil. These are waterproof and transfer proof, but they are not smudge proof. Quite frankly, I don't think any pencil is smudge proof.

You will need to sharpen this pencil until it looks like it can cut you. That's the only way you're going to be able to create those thin hair like strokes. And you'll need a razor blade to do that, not your typical pencil sharpener.

This is how I do my brows and I'm sure there are many other ways to do brows. But this is what works for me, someone who don't have alot of brow hair but still want to look like I do.

For my quick brow girls, this one is for you. Still giving the fluffy brow strokes but more natural-ish and takes half the time. All you need is a hard brow pencil that can be shaved sharp.

Took a couple different tries but finally able to achieve these tight loose curls. It's super time consuming but I absolutely love these curls the most. And so far, my daughter's hair is holding these curls pretty well.

Trick is to do small sections at a time, don't untwist the hair while wrapping it around the wand, and wrap it around in long spaced out curls and not tight curls. With her long hair, we did 2 to 3 separate sections of curls for each section/strand of hair. After we have the full length curled, I pulled at the end to straighten a bit to loosen the curl. I left it as is since we already did small enough sections, but you can def run your fingers through it once to separate the curls. I just preferred it the way it is.

Now, can I do this on my own hair?

Has anyone use this yet? If so, how do you like it? I really really love this stuff!

In the morning, I use this as a first step after washing my face, before applying toner. It really exfoliates that bit if dead skin you have without drying your skin, perfect for nice makeup application. And it gives you a super nice hydrated glow and the rest of skincare goes on so smooth.

At night time, I use it twice. Yes, twice lol. First one is right after wash, before toner. Ofcourse, that's to gently exfoliate any dead skin again. Second is after my serums, before moisturizer. I wake up the next day with super soft skin. Sometimes though, I do skip the first one 😅

I've been so lazy with my skincare lately though 😓 I really need to start taking care of my skin. Trying to get that korean glass skin 🤭

As a dance mom, I love seeing my daughter embrace our Hmong culture. And I also love that I get to be her personal MUA and hair stylist 😍

Yes, I do put a light layer of foundation on her for her performances. The one I always use on her is Estee Lauder double wear foundation. It's non comedogenic and is light enough that she won't feel like she's wearing foundation. Also a great base for show makeup (heavier blush and eye makeup). And it stays put throughout her performances and won't budge through sweat and humidity, which is a plus.

This was taken after she performed on a hot summer day. Still looking fresh!

A very long overdue video of how I do my brows. From no brows to fluffy "maybe she's born with it, maybe it's microbladed" brows.

This is not for the girlies who needs a quick out the door brow. Just a heads up.

Also, yes, I go back and forth in steps, like the video. That's because I have an asymmetrical face with no brows and a mole right on my brow, which makes it hard for me to create even brows if I finish one before starting the other. My ADHD brain just can't do that lol. So if you're like me, this is for you.

This brow look is not for everyone and that's ok. But even so, I hope there's something you take away from my video :)

When you finally realize your phone started recording you on it's own and caught you off guard, but then you see how glowy your skin is and had to admire it really quick.

The thinner the brush, the sharper the wing. The easiest way to create a thin liner is dab dab dab as close as you can to your water line above your lashes, not swipe. And ofcourse, I always line my water line to close the "awkward" gap.

A while ago, my dad asked my sister if I went and got a nose job. 😅😂 She should've said yes just to be funny lol. My makeup brush is a magic Wand 😜

This is embarrassing to post but here we go anyways lol.
After gaining a bit of weight, I noticed that my armpits were slightly getting darker due to the rubbing of skin (chafing) in that area. I was desperate, although it wasn't too bad.

I saw Musely (hydroquinone prescription) as an ad on fb and I was on it asap! After 1 month of using it religiously, I could see that it was actually doing the opposite and I was completely devastated. The pictures really made me sad because the results I wanted was to lighten, not darken. The brand and dermatologist told me that it will get darker before getting lighter but if you were desperate like me, that's the last thing you'd want. So I stopped using the prescription, since I have events coming up where I'd have to put in physical work. How embarrassing that would be 🙈

I did my own research and tried something for myself. Before anything, I'm sharing because I love these 2 products and they actually helped me. I'm not sponsored by the brands or site, although I am an affiliate that make a small commission on qualifying purchases through my links. I'm also not a professional that can give medical advices and I'm only sharing my experience and what has worked for me. Results may vary for everyone depending on their body and if there's any other underlying issues beneath the skin's surface.

What I did:
I started using The Ordinary Glycolic Acid and a whitening cream that was super inexpensive. I thought it's pretty cheap (Under $3 at the time) and thought it wasn't going to work, but I thought to just give it a try and see what happens.
Every morning before deodorant, I'll put a dime size amount of Glycolic acid on a cotton pad and wipe down both my armpits where it's dark. Let it dry out for a few minutes, fanning it while it dries. It will still be a tad bit tacky but that's ok. After, I massage the whitening cream onto my armpits, and let it dry. Wait for 15 mins before I apply deodorant. I only did this in the morning before I start my day.

I did this daily for a week and could visibly see the difference. I didn't know by how much until I looked at pictures. I'm just happy I followed my instincts and changed it up when I did.

**New skincare regimen**
But first, I just want to say that 2022 has been a rough year for some of us. For me, it was a downhill ride. And my skin really showed it! So ladies and gentlemen, how you feel on the inside really affects how you appear on the outside, and vice versa. So I hope you all are taking care of yourself this year and let go of the things that were bringing you down.

My pores really emphasized through 2022 with the lack of skincare, sleep and mental health. My skin aged so much in just one year. I won't go into details but I knew I needed to do something when I realized my makeup was not sitting good on my face like how it used to. I barely wore makeup in 2022 but when I did, I did not like it.

I saw on tiktok (yes tiktok made me buy it lol) about a girl's holy grail and went down this spiral of "how to improve my skin"😅

I added 3 products to my skincare.

I use this only once a week at nighttime. After using this, I apply a hydrating toner, vitamin c serum, and overnight renewal masque.

2. The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toning Solution

I only use this at nighttime, except for when I use the peeling solution above. I use this after my hydrating toner and still continue the other steps for my nighttime regimen as mentioned above.

3. Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant

I use this in my morning routine as a 3rd step, after my toner. Following this step is ldv serum concentrate, vit c serum, and ldv intense rejuvenation cream.

All these 3 products are chemical exfoliants so if you have sensitive skin, use with precaution and try a test area first. It does give me a few stings on the sides of my face but nothing more than that. Afterwards, my skin absorbs all the skincare that is applied, instead of it just sitting on top of my skin. That is definitely a good sign!

I was way too excited to see the results with these products but ya know me, I need before and afters to truly see changes. The left picture was how my pores were the morning i started to use these products. The right picture is literally the next day. Not much difference but I do see that my pores got smaller, especially on my nose. And I also can feel a huge difference in the way my skin feels. It's much softer and smoother and doesn't produce as much oil in my tzone as it did before. Which i feel is the cause of my makeup breaking apart by my nose.

This is just the beginning but so far, the little results that I do already see are giving me life!

Hi everyone ❤️ hope everyone is doing well going into 2023.
I just wanted to come on here and announce that I will no longer be providing makeup services going forward. It was a hard decision because I absolutely love the art of makeup and the amazing people i get to doll up, but I just feel this is what's best for me at this time.

Thank you to everyone who have reached out this past year about getting your makeup done. I apologize I couldn't be of help for your occasion. But i still want to thank you for considering me as your potential MUA.
