Hello everyone! Well, I guess it's time to admit that we're doing this for real now. Several episodes are up on Spotify now, including 5 actual factual sessions! We also invested in some new mics, so the sound quality should go up as we get up to date. The latest release is from October 2023, for reference.

Speaking of, I'm still toying with the idea of having a "Throwback Thursday" release for older sessions, and releasing newer sessions on a different day (still twice a week). That way you won't have to wait 20+ episodes to hear the higher quality stuff, without losing out on plot points that do matter. However I don't want the listening experience to be disorienting, so I'm definitely open to feedback.

Welcome to our page! Bottom Of The Round is a D&D podcast made by four guys in Milwaukee who have no acting experience, no sense of timing, and no luck with our rolls.

In D&D, combat length is measured in Rounds. Being at the bottom of the round means you're the last one to take a turn. We're the "D&D podcast" equivalent of that, showing up late to an over-saturated market with our show, long after the trend reached its peak.

In drinking culture, "finishing a round" means you're done with your drink. Likewise, the trend of D&D podcasts being popular or profitable is probably done, yet here we are with our show.
