It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our friend Wes Pichler. He was a long time friend of many people in the VW community here in Wisconsin. We were fortunate enough to be able to share his story and his love for Volkswagens with all of you on episode #13. Rest in Peace buddy you will be missed....

Sick Week Day 4 was wild, Well we have to start at the end of day 3. We lost two VW's, Ben Anderson ran a personal best and on his way to the next track he developed a rod knock taking him out. Steve Dalton found oil in his puke tank and decided to call it. But the story of true dedication to Drag and Drive goes to Noel Latour and his 1967 Beetle. The transmission wouldn't go into 1st and 2nd after his pass yesterday. So he two geared the car home and swapped in his street car transmission finishing at 4am. on his way to the next track he spun a drum. After all of that he was able get the car fixed and ran in the all-run catalog to complete the day. Big Shout out to Chuck Fryer he ran a new personal best today 11.39 @ 116mph!!
