We are tracking snow for tomorrow along with cooler temperatures. It is safe to say that temperatures will be similar to a roller coaster as we go up and down over the next 6 days.

1/9 11:55am: Snow showers return Saturday, with the steadiest snow during the morning hours. Scattered snow showers will then linger throughout the afternoon and evening. Expect 1-2" of snow in most spots, but midday models are bringing some closer to 3" now. Just some lingering snow around game time in Chicago tomorrow but it'll be a cold and windy game! fox6now.com/weather

1/9 6:35am: A lot happened overnight! We broke the record high temperature for today's date, reaching into the upper 50s just after midnight. We also had very strong wind, with a peak gust of 51mph in Milwaukee. fox6now.com/weather

1/9 4:55am: Good morning! It's a windy and mild morning, but temperatures will drop in the coming hours. Light rain and wintry mix will linger through mid-morning, then gradual sunshine with temperatures rebounding back into the low 40s. fox6now.com/weather

1/8 10:42pm: Very windy on Friday morning with rain between 6-10am (mixed with some snow at times). Some sun by afternoon. Temperatures in the 30s on Friday. A band of snow will move through Saturday morning. 1-2" of snow expected (both Milwaukee and Chicago). Again, snow in the *morning*. Only scattered snow showers in the afternoon and evening. Windy on Saturday. Chilly for the game in Chicago with wind chills in the teens. Go Pack!

9:08pm Thursday: Breaking. We are the warmest we've been since before Thanksgiving right now. It won't last long as the cold air is knocking on our door to the west. The last time we were in the 50s was a few days before Thanksgiving Day. 54 is our record high on Friday. It's possible we hit that after midnight before the cold front comes through.

5:32pm Thursday: Anyone near Racine or Kenosha hear thunder around 5pm? We had a few lightning strikes. This rain will keep pushing through this evening with a dry slot to the southwest moving in by 10pm or so. This will mean a lighter rain overnight. Rain mixed with some snow on Friday morning and then some sun Friday afternoon. -Tom Wachs
