HELLO to our new friends, old friends, and soon-to-be friends! ✌🏼

It’s been a minute since we’ve shown our faces around here. If you haven’t met us, we’re Sierra & Sean—newlyweds who love creating films that are epic, captivating, and uniquely you!

As party enthusiasts ourselves, we’re here for the couples who think outside the box, know how to throw a party, and, above all… are madly in love with each other. 💕

We combined Sean’s business-savvy brain with my creative, artsy mind to create Flyin’ Iris! 🎥 We recently filmed our 70th wedding and will be celebrating our 4th year in business in 2025! This career path quickly turned into a fiery passion for us and is, by far, the best decision we’ve ever made—besides marrying each other (cheers to our first year married!🥂).

We LOVE weddings—like, love love them! The best part of our job is showing up on the biggest day of someone’s life and experiencing the love, joy, and electric energy alongside them. It’s all so infectious, and we wouldn’t trade it for anything.

When we’re not behind the lens, you’ll find us with friends and family, camping, at concerts, debating deep life questions over a home-cooked meal, or, of course, behind our beloved computer screens. 👩🏻‍💻👨🏼‍💻 I, Sierra, am the slightly introverted, plant- and cat-loving editor behind all of our films, while Sean is the talkative, Type A guy with one million ideas and a laugh as loud as a jackhammer. (Fun fact: You’ll hear his laugh in most of our films. I can’t stop him—it’s like telling a baby not to cry.)

🎥 JOHN & MARIA'S BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING! 🎥

From shredding down the slopes at Little Switzerland for their snowboarding story session to their epic wedding day, John & Maria have been an absolute blast! 🙌 Not only did we capture some incredible moments, but we also walked away with two amazing new friends. 💛

Their wedding was nothing short of unforgettable—starting with a stunning Vogue-style bridal shoot, the groomsmen surprising John with Pappy Van Winkle, and a robot arm serving beers at their epic reception at The Factory on Barclay. How cool is that? 🍻🤖

The live band kept the dance floor alive all night, making this one of the most fun and unique weddings we've captured

🎥 A Marine Marries His Duchess 🎥

Get ready for a sneak peek into Olivia Honoré & Austin Honoré’s unforgettable wedding day! This teaser is just a taste of the epic vibes we captured. We started the weekend by hanging out with them at Veteran’s Park, where we shared drinks, laughs, and filmed their story session. By the time their big day hit, we knew it was going to be something special—Olivia had planned every detail to perfection, and Austin? The sweetest guy ever, handling the day with so much heart.

Their wedding day at The Ivy House was pure magic. Their wedding party kept the energy high, making the entire day a blast to capture. The dance floor was absolutely LIT, with some hilarious moments that we were lucky enough to catch on camera! Aiden and Elle love story reached its epic chapter in the heart of winter at the stunning Ivy House. From the first swipe to saying "I do," their day was full of magic and a little fun surprise—right after their first kiss, Elle’s veil ripped off as they walked down the aisle, but they both laughed it off like total pros! Nothing could have broke their spirits that day! We were honored to capture every beautiful moment of their unforgettable day.

💫A Full Circle Journey💫

When Kim & Parker first told us that we would be visiting the pub where they met, on their wedding day, I just about lost it!

We explored Jack's American Pub in Milwaukee, where they had their first random yet magical encounter. As they stepped foot inside that day, wearing their stunning wedding apparel, the bar went WILD with cheers. The excitement of it all brought me to happy tears and gave me full-body chills, all at the same time.. 🥹

Their journey embodies a romance that's beautifully come full circle. Their shared passions for the outdoors, cooking, and wine have painted their nine years together with vibrancy and laughter. 🌄🍷Returning to Jack's was not just a nostalgic trip down memory lane, but a poignant symbol of their journey’s growth and depth.

💥Exhilarating Fall Wedding💥

Kendra & Sam, hands down, had the BEST wedding day timeline I've ever come across! Some couple's biggest regret on their wedding day is that they didn't spend enough time with their guests OR each other. This was not the case for Mr. & Mrs. Schwanebeck.

They began their day with a mini cocktail hour before the ceremony, allowing them to share moments side-by-side with their loved ones and express gratitude before Kendra put on her beautiful gown.

After the ceremony, they had an abundance of time to enjoy themselves & party on. And they did exactly that! Their reception was fun, fun, FUN!! 🎉

Their adorably spunky daughter, Macie, stole the dance floor with her moves and before we left, the entire bridal party faced off in a flip cup battle. 💃🤘 Simply put, these two know how to truly enjoy themselves!

As we embarked on our journey to celebrate Alexandria and Colin's wedding, I distinctly recall experiencing that warm and comforting sensation that comes with the arrival of autumn. There's nothing quite like the feeling of a gentle, cool breeze while the sun continues to bathe my face in its warmth, all while the sound of rustling leaves descends from the trees. ☀️🍃

Brandon & Lori's Vow Renewal

🤍5 Years of Pure Love🤍 One of my favorite love stories: Lori & Brandon Zolp. 📝❤️ Well before Flyin' Iris was even a thought, back in 2018, Sean and I had the honor of attending Sean's college friend Brandon's wedding. I still remember crying FULL, wet tears during their wedding ceremony, where they expressed their love with heartfelt personal vows. During this ceremony, they put love letters into a box, nailed it shut, and promised to open it back up sometime in the future when the time was right and read them to each other. Little did I know at the time that, 5 years later, I would be there to watch & film them open that box back up! LIFE IS WILDLY BEAUTIFUL. ☀️ Lori & Brandon turned what could've been a simple box opening & letter reading into an incredibly sentimental and momentous occasion. Lori bought a dress she had always longed to wear on her wedding day and surprised her husband of 5 years. Her beauty literally took his breath away.🥹 The unbelievably talented Mattie sang "their" song with an acoustic guitar while they danced as if no one else was on Earth. They continued expressing their passionate love by reading the letters in the box from 5 years prior. Additionally, they exchanged vows to commemorate the journey of their relationship thus far. But THEN came the true cherry on top! Meaningful tattoos. 🖋️ "I am with you." I mean... C'MON!! Could this day have been any more of an emotionally sentimental roller coaster ride?! YES, yes it can! Lori ultimately met with Mattie afterward to record a duet of their song, 'Biblical' by Calum Scott, which is the second song played in this video! Brandon & Lori, you have turned me into a mushy, hopeless romantic, sobbing mess. 😭I will never fully recover. Your love will inspire future generations time & time again.
