Unhealthy Emotions & Actions
There is a difference between love and obsession. When you find yourself constantly worrying about what that person is doing, who they are with, what persons of the opposite s*x has their attention, etc.., you are simply obsessed. It is a difference between thinking of someone and straight being obsessive and stalker-ish. This type of behavior is very unhealthy. If you are constantly jealous of other people in their life, mainly those of the opposite s*x, comparing yourself to those of the opposite s*x that they communicate with, again that isn’t love but an obsession and you are completely unstable.
You stalking them on social media sites. Constantly checking their page, Instagram, Twitter, etc…. Questioning everything they say or do and also who they communicate with….. Popping up at their home, job, social functions and gatherings…. It is crazy and extremely unhealthy…..
This is why we need to be careful of casual s*xual relationships, emotional ties and bonds, etc. If you are not married or in a serious committed relationship then honestly that person you are “seeing” should not be a priority or constant thought in your mind. Why should they be? Do you both feel the same way about each other? Are you working towards a relationship in the very near future? If the answer to either question is no, then why constantly give someone your energy when it is clear they are not giving you their energy.
Honestly, this type of behavior is unhealthy whether you are married, in a committed relationship or not. When you find yourself doing things mentioned above, you need to step away from the situation you have placed yourself in. You need to focus on becoming stronger and healthier spiritually, emotionally and mentally. You need to keep yourself grounded in those areas.
This isn’t a female behavior or a male behavior. It is for both s*xes.
Love isn’t obsessing, being jealous, being anxious or any of that stuff. You must be stable in order for any relationship to work. Unhealthy behaviors will never lead to a healthy relationship. Unhealthy behaviors will lead you straight into self destruction….
