Stop settling & start healing.

So, stop settling. And when the right one comes, he will know he’s been blessed to find you.

Until then, stay rooted in who you are, focus on your mission, and keep letting God elevate you.

Don’t shrink. You’re ready for the commitment and covenant that you deserve.

Stop settling & start healing.

It’s time to cut those soul ties and shift your mindset.

The man for you is not the one who doesn’t commit; he’s the one who sees you for who you are in Christ, who will lead, protect, and honor you as his equal, his partner, and his best friend.

No more being someone’s “secret”. It’s time to shine and attract the love that is aligned with your purpose.

You’ve already been picked, and you’re being positioned for something great.

Stop settling & start healing.

Let me break this down for you: The enemy will try to make you feel like your love life is on hold or that you’re stuck in a cycle of unfulfilled relationships.

But here’s the truth—when you know your worth, no one can treat you like an option.

It’s time to stop allowing yourself to be an afterthought, a “maybe” or a “for now.”

You’re a whole woman of God with an anointing on your life, and if a man can’t handle that, he needs to get out of the way.

There will be a few of these…

Stop settling & start healing.

God says He has plans to prosper you, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
He didn’t create you to be anyone’s side piece.
He created you for full commitment, for the love that mirrors His love for His people—unwavering, whole, and eternal.

Here is a short night cap Sis.

Stop settling & start healing.

You are not a secret—you’re a whole treasure in the kingdom, a woman of God on a mission.

You are not meant to be hidden away or playing second fiddle in anyone’s life.

That situation you’ve been in? Nah, it’s time to pull up and take a good look at what you deserve.

Happy Blessed Thursday Evening.

✨ Sis, Take a Deep Breath… You Are Making It ✨

Hey Beautiful Soul 💕

What. A. Week.

If it felt like you were juggling a million things, stretching yourself to show up for others, and still managing to handle business (even if it wasn’t pretty), I just want you to pause and breathe. You have made it thus far through the week—and that alone is something to celebrate.

Maybe it didn’t go as planned. Maybe you had moments of doubt, frustration, or exhaustion. But guess what? You kept going. That’s strength. That’s resilience. That’s God’s grace covering you even when you felt like giving up.

Now as we get ready to head into the weekend, I want to remind you:

🌸 Rest is not a reward, it’s a requirement.
🌸 Joy is still your portion—even in the midst of waiting.
🌸 You are allowed to unplug, recharge, and simply BE.
🌸 You are not behind—you are exactly where God needs you to be.

Take this weekend to pour back into YOU. Whether that’s getting still with God, journaling your wins, or just dancing around the house in your favorite T-shirt—do what feeds your soul. The woman you’re becoming requires your love and attention too.

And remember, next week isn’t waiting on a “perfect” version of you—it’s waiting on the real you to show up, refreshed and rooted in truth.

You are loved. You are seen. And God is not finished with your story yet.

💕With strength & softness,
Marquita Y. Johnson

Think About It Thursday
Can we be real today?

How often do we really stop and ask ourselves:
“Am I building what God told me to build, or what looks good on Social Media?”

Comparison will have you rushing God’s process and chasing platforms instead of purpose. But here’s the truth—God didn’t call you to be viral. He called you to be faithful.
That quiet, obedient “yes” in the shadows is still seen by Heaven.

So today, pause. Pray. Reflect.
Ask yourself:
Is what I’m carrying birthed from pressure… or from purpose?

Think about it.
Then move with intention.

Happy Blessed Wisdom Wednesday !

Sis, remember this: You don’t have to have it all figured out to keep moving forward. Wisdom is not about knowing everything—it’s about trusting God through everything.

Take a deep breath. You are growing, evolving, and becoming the woman God created you to be. Keep seeking His guidance, and let His Word be the lamp to your path.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God… and it will be given.” — James 1:5

Walk boldly in your purpose today. You’ve got this—with God by your side.

Happy Blessed Monday!

Today, pause and remember:
You are not behind. You are not forgotten. You are exactly where God can still bless and use you.

Being rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness. — Colossians 2:7

Life can pull at us in so many directions — work, family, responsibilities — but don’t let the rush make you forget whose you are.
Before you run to check a to-do list, run into His presence.
Before you let anxiety fill your mind, fill your heart with His promises.

This morning, take 5 minutes and ask:
• Lord, what are You teaching me today?
• How can I reflect Your love to someone else today?
• Help me stay rooted in You.

Remember: God doesn’t need perfection — just your yes.
Let’s move into today with grateful hearts and steady faith!

Reflection Question:
What is one way you can intentionally stay rooted in Christ today?”

Happy Blessed Faithful Friday!

To the Woman Walking in Purpose…

When you’re walking in alignment with God’s will, you will attract attention — both light and darkness. Be wise. Stay prayed up. Use discernment.

Don’t get caught up in distractions. Don’t be led by desperation. Everything that looks like a blessing isn’t sent by God.

Know your assignments. Know your purpose. And just as importantly — know what and who is not for you.

Yes, it gets hard. Yes, the path gets lonely. But you are never alone.

God has a divine plan for your life, and every promise He’s spoken will come to pass.

Stay rooted. Stay focused. Stay the course.

He’s not done with you yet.

I’m Back: A New Chapter, A Renewed Fire

To every woman who has ever felt the weight of life sit heavy on her shoulders… I see you. I’ve been you. And today, I return to this space not as the same woman who once wrote here, but as a stronger, wiser, and more determined version of her.

It’s been over a year since I’ve posted—and trust me, I didn’t plan for that. What started as a short pause turned into a season. A season where writer’s block held my voice hostage. A season where life started “life-ing”—you know, throwing curveballs, distractions, burdens, and unexpected delays.

There were days I opened this page, stared blankly & felt defeated because I had nothing to give. Not because I didn’t care, but because I was drained. I was navigating through storms I never saw coming. I was healing. I was surviving. I was growing.

But here’s the thing: in the midst of it all, God was still writing. Even when I couldn’t. Even when I felt stuck, the Author of my story was still at work.

And now? I’m back—with a renewed fire and a deeper understanding of grace, purpose, and perseverance.

This space is for you, sis—the woman who’s tired but keeps showing up. The dreamer who’s doubted herself. The believer who’s wrestled with the wait. The nurturer who’s poured into everyone but herself.

You are not forgotten. You are not behind. You are not too late. You are in process—and process is holy ground.

Let this post be your reminder:
It’s okay to start again. It’s okay to rise slowly. It’s okay to bloom quietly.

I’m back to remind you of your power, your beauty, and your God-given purpose. Together, we’re going to speak life, walk in truth, and lift each other higher.

Thank you for sticking with me. Thank you for coming back. Let’s grow together—boldly, beautifully, and unapologetically.

With love and fire,
Marquita Y. Johnson
