Mental Health Awareness: PSA Video by Grace Muresan
Grace Mursean, our PSA Video contest grand prize winner, is a 6th grader at Peterson Middle School in Sunnyvale, CA. She explained to us, "I was shocked to find that many of my friends, who seemed to be 'happy', told me that they often felt sad, anxious, lonely, and confused. I wanted to tell them and the world that harming others or themselves was never the answer. I wanted to tell them that their feelings were real and that they could always tell someone... at the very least... I will always listen."
Mental Health Awareness: PSA Video by Alani Jones
5th grader at Escuela Bilingue Internacional in Oakland ,CA, Alani Jones "created a PSA video because I really love to inspire other kids. I want to share all the information and tips I have with other girls to help them overcome loneliness."
Mental Health Awareness: PSA Video by Sophia Gutierrez Sabau
Sophia, a 4th grader at Merryhill Elementary School in San Jose, entered our PSA video contest in the hopes that her video will bring awareness about mental health. "I was inspired by my music teacher, Mrs. Grace, who explained to me how these type of actions support the community."
Mental Health Awareness: PSA Video by Kayla Wong
Sophomore at Piedmont High School, Kayla Wong explains that she "was inspired to create a PSA about mental health because besides the already harmful stigma against having conversations about mental health in today's society, the stigma is even worse for Asian-Americans. I know for a fact as an Asian-American teen that even the mention of mental health in a conversation with any of my relatives is taboo. My experience with mental health issues along with others in my family has opened my eyes to the truth that the culture in my community is so similar to that of society's, just on a smaller scale. Helping my family members understand that they are loved and will be loved no matter what motivates me to help others understand this with the people they love as well. I hope my PSA can reach others who feel that coming out with their mental health issues to the people in their life is scary and seemingly impossible. Sharing your truth is cathartic and that relief can help in taking the first steps on your journey to happiness."

What is WorldWideWomen?
Join us at www.worldwidewomen.co! WorldWideWomen is a new company on a mission to move the needle toward gender parity. We know that this is a very big goal, but we believe that global connection and access to information and resources are powerful tools to help change the game for women, and that is what we are all about.
Women- specific services are actually quite challenging to find — everything is fragmented and scattered all over web. It’s difficult to sift through all of the data to find what you need, and what you do find is not vetted for quality and value. The WorldWideWomen team researches and carefully vets valuable organizations, programs and services exclusively for women and assembles them into our easy to use guide that streamlines the search and quality checking process, and presents – FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER – the big picture of all that’s available to support our lives.
