At A Real Grip, we believe in the power of storytelling to connect, inspire, and uplift. We’re honored to have directed and co-produced this impactful video alongside Amazon, telling the powerful story of Craig Edwards' journey through his cancer diagnosis and recovery.�

Directed and co-produced by our very own Atuanya Priester, this project embodies resilience, community, and the strength to keep moving forward despite life’s challenges. It’s a reminder of the importance of human-first storytelling—capturing real moments, real people, and real impact.�

Craig’s story highlights the critical role of healthcare benefits in his battle against cancer, but beyond that, it’s about the unwavering support of his family, teammates, and leadership at Amazon. Working with Craig and his daughter was a moving experience, reinforcing why we do what we do—to tell stories that matter.�

“Sarah.” is a compelling short film that chronicles the extraordinary journey of a Bi-racial Black and Mexican real estate developer Jaebadiah, who defies societal expectations and those around him. Raised in the Barrio of South Gate, Los Angeles in the 90’s, Jaebadiah’s early life was marked by both cultural challenges and socioeconomic hardships. Driven by an unwavering determination, he relocates to Seattle with a bold vision: to transform the city’s real estate landscape with a penchant to build wealth for Black and Brown communities. Despite facing systemic barriers multiple murders in his family, drug abuse and encountering unexpected betrayals from people he once trusted, Jaebadiah relentlessly pursues his dream. His journey is fraught with trials, from navigating the complexities of being the only Black and Mexican in the commercial real estate market to overcoming prejudice and skepticism. Through sheer resilience and ingenuity, Jaebadiah successfully acquires millions of dollars’ worth of real estate, steadily building a portfolio that stands as a testament to his grit and tenacity. “Sarah.” highlights the intricate balance between personal sacrifice, family loss and professional triumph, capturing the essence of a man who, against extraordinary odds, remains steadfast in his quest to redefine success on his own terms. As Jaebadiah’s story unfolds, it serves as an inspiring reminder that the most significant obstacles often come from those we least expect, and that true strength lies in persevering despite the lack of support.
