STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe the truth expressed in the following statements is essential to a gospel ministry. Though we are aware this statement does not contain all the truth in the Bible, we believe it does express our present needs and desires regarding the following fundamental matters:
WE BELIEVE:
In one God existent in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who is eternally self-existent, self-revealed, and functions as one entity. In the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, His vicarious and atoning death, and His bodily resurrection and ascension into heaven. In the Holy Spirit who as the promise of the Father, is the unlimited and invisible presence of Jesus Christ on the earth, living in every born again Christian, empowering them to live as authentic expressions of Jesus Christ in every day circumstances. In water baptism as a declaration of the believer that he/she has died, spiritually, with Christ, and has been raised up to newness of life in Him. In the Blessed Hope of the second coming of Jesus Christ, to gather all the Christians, the living and the dead, to heaven with Him. In the infallible Word of God, the Bible as a revelation from God to man. It is without error, eternally reliable as His rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason. In the necessity for all people, in all places, and in all times, to be born again through faith in Jesus Christ, because everyone has sinned and fallen short of His standard of life and godliness. In a world filled with darkness and despair, many of us are searching for something to give us HOPE. Peter Nielsen defines HOPE as Having Optimal Positive Emotions about something that seems nearly impossible. (1 Peter 3:15) Scripture say, “ Always be ready to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the Hope that is in you”
