⛈️ **SEVERE THUNDERSTORM RISK – TUESDAY / TUESDAY NIGHT**

The National Weather Service has placed the Milford area within a **Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms** from **11:00 AM Tuesday, September 1 through 8:00 AM Wednesday, September 2**.

Storms developing later today and tonight could bring **heavy rain, frequent lightning, strong wind gusts, and localized flooding**. Residents should remain weather-aware, especially during the afternoon and evening hours.

Milford Public Works will continue to monitor conditions and is prepared to respond as necessary.

⚠️ Please remember:

* Never drive through flooded roadways.
* Secure outdoor furniture and other loose items.
* Use caution around downed trees, branches, and wires.
* Report emergencies or downed power lines to **911**.

Stay alert to additional forecasts and warnings from the **National Weather Service** and City of Milford.
