Early This AM 09/02/2024 NHFD Responded to the area of Whalley ave and West Prospect St in New Haven for an MVA rollover with extrication. 1 unconscious male was removed from the vehicle. Unknown condition at this time. Will update if we get more info,

🚨2nd Alarm Structure Fire | New Haven🚨

NHFD responded to a 2nd alarm fire in the fair haven section. 2 houses on fire in the 50 block of Woosley St. In Fair Haven overnight 09/02/2024, Was Reported Heavy fire upon arrival. Crews did an incredible job bringing this under control. No injuries reported.

🚨Reckless Driving Arrest | Connecticut State Police 🚨

9/1/2024 @4:20am -

Connecticut State Police successfully disrupted multiple attempts by reckless drivers to block roadways for a street takeover early Sunday morning. Troopers responded to three incidents, all involving groups of vehicles attempting to obstruct traffic on the Polish Legion Highway.

In the first two incidents, the groups complied with orders to disperse. However, during the third incident at around 4:20 am, some drivers refused to cooperate, leading Troopers to deploy stop-sticks to attempt to disable vehicles.

A total of seven drivers were arrested, including 24-year-old Kevin Correa-Martinez, who fled the scene after running over stop-sticks. Correa-Martinez was later apprehended after his vehicle became disabled. He was released on a $10,000 bond, along with the other arrested individuals, is scheduled to appear in New Britain Superior Court in September.

@7:13 PM 09/01/2024- HPD and NHPD are on scene after a Stolen Vehicle came to rest in the area of Second St and Warren St in Hamden. Reportedly over a half a dozen people bailed from the car and fled. 1 person reportedly pulled a gun while running from officers. 1 person was detained. Will update if we get more info.

@6:43 PM 09/01/2024- NHPD, NHFD and AMR are on scene on Sherman Ave near Henry St in New Haven after reports of a rider falling off the back of a Dirt bike or 4 Wheeler while riding in a pack of about 20 Bikes and Quads down Sherman Ave. Reported Female with a Head Injury. Sherman Ave is blocked by police. Will update if we get more info.

From Bridgeport Police Department-

On 08/30/2024, the Bridgeport Police Department successfully apprehended Ismael Padilla, a suspect with a lengthy criminal record, wanted in connection with multiple burglary warrants in both Bridgeport and Fairfield. Padilla’s arrest marks a significant development in ongoing efforts by Det. Palatiello to address a series of burglaries that have affected the local community.

Through advanced law enforcement investigative techniques, The Bridgeport Police Department identified Padilla as the suspect in several burglaries across the City of Bridgeport. His arrest comes after a swift and professional response by patrol officers to an active burglary in progress. The officers’ quick actions and dedication to public safety led directly to Padilla’s apprehension.

The investigation remains ongoing. The public is encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement.

Padilla is charged with multiple counts of Burglary, larceny, and criminal mischief with bonds totaling $ 160,000. Additional charges are expected.

Around 12:30 PM 09/01/2024- Car Fire On Long Wharf Dr at Food Truck Lot Along I-91 N In New Haven.

🚨Structure Fire | Bridgeport🚨

@8:20 PM 08/31/2024- Multiple Bridgeport, CT Fire Department Companies Responded to a reported to a 2 1/2 story (wooden) structure fire in the 40 block of Alpine St, just off Noble Ave in Bridgeport. Working Fire Was Declared upon arrival by FD @8:31 PM, with reported heavy fire throughout 1st and 2nd floors of the structure.

Firefighters immediately began stretching water lines for operation, with Heavy Smoke and Fire conditions and Fire coming out at least of one of the sides of the structure. @8:41 FD Reported 3 water lines stretched and operating and Firefighters inside the structure begin searching for residents. (everyone was out) @8:45 PM FD Reported the fire had extended to the third floor and there was fire coming through the vent hole cut in the roof by firefighters above. @8:54 PM FD Reported 4 water lines stretched and operating. Firefighters inside the structure backed down to the 2nd floor so the ladder truck can knock down the heavy fire above. @9:23 PM FD Reported 5 water lines in operation and the fire conditions remained unchanged with heavy fire through the roof.

Eventually around 11:35 PM FD Reported the fire was under control after difficult conditions and hard work from firefighters on scene. There were no reports of any civilians injured and at least one firefighter was transported to the hospital for evaluation for non-life-threatening injuries. Was also reported that Red Cross helped relocate 2 adults and 3 children that resided at the location. Unknown how the fire started at this time. The Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating. Will update if we get more information.

🚨Shooting Inside NOA Restaurant/Bar Downtown New Haven, CT🚨

Update From NHPD 08/31/2024- NHPD investigates a non-fatal shooting

On 08/31/24 at 1:00AM, New Haven police responded to Noa, located at 200 Crown Street, for a report of gunshots.

Callers stated there was a fight inside the bar and there were two gunshots heard.

The patrons of the bar fled from the establishment and officers were approached by a female victim who claimed she was struck by gunfire.

There appeared to be a scratch to her right shin that had a small amount of blood. The victim, a 28-year-old New Haven resident, was transported to YNHH by AMR for her superficial wound While speaking with the first victim, a second stated she this she was shot too.

She showed officers a small red mark that did not break the skin on her right ankle area. She declined medical attention.

Officers located ballistic evidence in the area.

Police ask that anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have information valuable to investigators to call detectives at 203-946-6304 or through the department's anonymous tip-line at
