Construction 169/CR4 at Zimmerman Update.

The new 169 overpass has been finalized and they are preparing bid documents for potential contractors. There will be another public open house in spring 2025 once a contractor has been selected. The open house will have detailed information about the schedule and access routes.

Construction is expected to begin in May 2025 and extend through November 2026. Review details and final project layout at https://clients.bolton-menk.com/hwy169andcr4/

Thanks Deputy Boster!

Today, we recognized Deputy Justin Boster for his hard work and dedication in removing drunk drivers from our roads. He was recognized by the MN Office of Traffic safety for getting 2 hat tricks , which is 3 drunk driving arrests on one shift. Pictured left to right are Frank Scherf from the MN Office of Traffic Safety, Deputy Boster and Sheriff Kyle Burton. Great work Justin!!!

FYI - Hwy 169 project closing some access starting 8pm on Sunday, June 23 in Elk River - Details…Local access to close at the Main St./Zane St./Line Ave./181st Ave. intersection, east of Hwy 169 in Elk River to reconstruct the intersection. Motorists to follow road signs along Twin Lakes Road between 179th St. and Line Ave. The access will reopen in mid-August.
