Derived from Latin roots meaning “all” and “reading”, if you’re omnilegent then you’re either extremely well read and have a knowledge of a great amount of literature, or are absolutely addicted to reading everything that comes your way. If I could live forever it would be to read every book ever written. #wordoftheday
Today is the Summer Solstice. It is the first official day of summer and the longest day of the year. We highly suggest spending some time outside today. Maybe sit outside and read, go for a walk or head to a beach if one’s near by. Sunlight isn’t only good for plants, it’s beneficial for everything, including you. We hope you have a beautiful day and a wonderful summer! 🌞 🌊⛰️
In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson issued a presidential proclamation that designated June 14 as Flag Day and on August 3, 1949, National Flag Day was officially established by an Act of Congress. Flag Day commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States on June 14, 1777 by resolution of the Second Continental Congress. The Flag Resolution stated "That the flag of the thirteen United States be thirteen stripes, alternate red and white; that the union be thirteen stars, white in a blue field, representing a new constellation."
How many times a day do you furiously type out a comment and then delete it or close the app? Asking for a friend. 😬
Embrace your strength and resilience. Every challenge you face only makes your inner light shine brighter. Stand tall and proud, your journey is a testament to your courage and determination. The world needs you to be you but not everyone will see that. That is ok. Keep being you and let your light illuminate the people and the world around you. #MayaAngelou #Inspiration #InnerStrength #Courage #Resilience
It’s not too late to celebrate National Donut Day. Go have some for dinner. You’ve earned it!
As the saying goes, you can't pour from an empty cup. In order to be able to care for others we must first care for ourselves. Too often we think it is the opposite but taking of yourself allows you to show up fully.
For #WellnessWednesday here are a few simple ways that you can fill your cup.
If a book is being banned, you should read it.
