Hello friends! I am hosting a "bring your own project art spa day" at the Midvale Main Art House this Saturday, Jan 25, noon to 3. Please come and bring any project you are working on or want to start on! I will have tables and chairs, some extra supplies if you need them, some snacks, tea, and flavored waters, music, and plenty of friendly conversation for you! This is open house style. You can come for a little while or for the whole time! It's up to you---please just COME let us see your face! Feel free to share with your friends and bring them along!

Since the beginning of time, people have relied on the practice of rituals and traditions to add meaning, depth, wonder, and awe to their lives. I wanted to share this beautiful tradition with you for setting intentions or making wishes for the year ahead. It's called "Rauhnachte" 🥰 or The 12 Nights of Christmas. (Feel free to google it to learn more about this tradition, and thank you to my friend who introduced me to it 🩷)

You'll need a jar (decorating it could be an artsy project), some paper, some fire 🔥, and some wishes for the new year! Instructions are in the image! Love and light to you all, and may all of your wishes come true! ❤️

These are awesome! Image number 1 is what chatgpt told me I look like when I'm working based on what I told it I do for a living. Image number 2 is what I told chatgpt I actually look look when I'm working. I love that it imagined me in a bathrobe with a funky sweatband on my head 🤣 The "truth" is found somewhere in the middle of these.

I think she is complete: The High Priestess. She is inspired from the High Priestess tarot card, which is a powerful symbol of intuition, inner knowledge, and the sacred mysteries within us all. She reminds us that true wisdom doesn’t always come from outside sources but from trusting the quiet voice within.

As I worked on this piece, I found myself reflecting on how often
I seek external validation when, deep down, the answers are already inside of me. The High Priestess is a call to pause, listen, and trust in your own knowing. 🌙✨

May she inspire you to reconnect with your intuition and find strength in your inner guidance.

Millcreek Arts Council is running an auction on all of this art with profits going toward partners working to save the Great Salt Lake.
