I’ve worked with the Valley Health System for close to two decades and have been fortunate to get to capture the important work and care they provide to the community day in and out - and last Sunday's historic event was no exception.

NBPro.media been documenting this project since the day Valley announced its plans to build a brand new hospital back in 2018 - and to finally witness the teams of staff and volunteers successfully transport almost 200 patients in one day to this new hospital was nothing short of incredible!

We had almost our whole crew on hand to help tell this story. Working directly with Valley's incredible marketing team we were able to capture so many special moments.

I feel lucky to be able to work with such a great organization and great people.

On Sunday, April 14, 2024, The Valley Hospital officially moved from Ridgewood to Paramus, New Jersey.

Meet Kalani, a talented individual who is thankful to have the support of others in pursuing his passions. Currently, he is working on building a space for music and arts, creating a vibrant community that fosters creativity and collaboration.
As a child, Kalani dreamed of becoming an architect but eventually found his true calling in film and photography.
One of Kalani’s biggest pet peeves is when people don’t say thank you or acknowledge kindnesses, like holding open a door. He believes that small acts of acknowledgement can go a long way in making someone’s day.
Kalani draws inspiration from a quote by Uma, “Sometimes the most you need to do is show up. Showing up for yourself and others goes a long way.” This quote resonates with him as it emphasizes the importance of being present and showing up, both for yourself and for others.
When asked who has inspired him the most, Kalani hesitates to admit it, but cites John Mould as a source of inspiration. He admires Mould’s dedication to his craft and his willingness to take risks and push boundaries.
If he could give advice to his 9-year-old self, Kalani would tell himself to give less importance to what other people think, as it leads to greater productivity and less anxiety.
What Kalani likes most about his job is the amount of exposure to different communities and activities it has given him. He has traveled all over the world and has been brought into various communities, opening his eyes to new experiences and opportunities. For this, he is extremely grateful.

Always on a quest to improve our work - this year we decided to invest in some new glass to bring our productions to a higher level. We did our research and opted for the Zeiss Otus series (there are so many lens options out there but when you see the little blue logo you know you are looking at something special). The 28mm, 55mm, 85mm, and 100mm will cover us in any situation. We can’t wait to show you what these can do! 📸

This was the first shoot in our FarmVoice series for the NJ Ag Society. We really didn’t know what to expect but when we arrived at this farm in Somerset, NJ and saw a 15 foot fiberglass cow we knew it was going to be a good day. The Puskas were so great to work with and we all have a greater appreciation for the milk and dairy products we eat 🐮🥛

Meet Giuseppe, a talented sound designer and audio engineer with a passion for creating captivating and immersive sonic experiences. Currently, he is working as a sound editor for several large scale post production facilities in NYC, where he has the opportunity to showcase his unique style and talent.

One of Giuseppe's biggest pet peeves is using smart phones during a meal with others. He believes that opportunities to personally bond and share ideas with others are becoming rare, and we should all try to moderate our relationships with modern technology.

Giuseppe draws inspiration from a quote by Michael Scott, "I'm not superstitious, but I am a little stitious". This quote resonates with him as it emphasizes the importance of keeping an open mind and being willing to consider and evaluate things and ideas that may seem unconventional or strange.

When asked who has inspired him the most, Giuseppe cites his wife, Michelle. Her unwavering support and encouragement have helped him achieve his goals and make significant strides in his career.

Giuseppe's advice for living life to the fullest is to remember that "90% of what you worry about is out of your control". He believes that it's important to focus on what you can control and let go of the rest.

What Giuseppe enjoys most about his job is the rare moments when he can't help but laugh, cry, or be energized by the work he's involved in. For him, it's not always about work for work's sake, but about finding joy and fulfillment in every project he takes on.

Last week we got a chance to visit our friends up at the Helm to help them deliver major news to their loyal customers - a relocation to Warwick, NY! This virtual announcement got over 20K views in a day! It was really important to Mark and the team to let everyone know they were just moving and not closing. Taking the time to create a short video with us allowed Mark to share this news with the restaurant's following and beyond - in his own words ⚓️
