This afternoon, Connecticut Radio Fellowship Board President Drew Crandall participated in the official launch of the CT Content Creator Collaborative, held at the New Britain Museum of American Art. Drew has been at the forefront of WIHS' multi-year entry into the digital space.

"Attending this event was another of MANY reminders that in order to grow and fulfill our mission, WIHS must enthusiastically embrace the digital space and morph into a Christian media ministry, not just a Christian radio station," says Drew.

"Effective January 1, 2026, Tirrell Watson's job has expanded to full-time as WIHS Multimedia Specialist. His God-given gifts, talents and experience in this area are already bearing much good fruit. We praise God and pray for wisdom and creativity from the Lord as we move forward."

"I know technology can be intimidating and resources can be slight, but I encourage Christian churches and ministries across Connecticut to engage with their communities through fast-growing digital platforms."

One of the largest mission fields in Connecticut is "The Marketplace." Every Christ-follower who works is an Ambassador for the Lord on-the-job and in the various work-related spheres of influence in which he or she operates.

That's why, nearly a year ago, WIHS added "The Salt Mine" to its local programming. Each workday at 8:25 am, Connecticut Radio Fellowship Board President Drew Crandall shares a brief, two-minute Scripture-based, topical devotion to help to encourage and equip Christians to be salt where they work.

Drew has been writing free Salt Mine email devotions for many years, which go to working Christians weekly across the United States and internationally, often in English and Chinese.

Today, information on WIHS' Salt Mine segment was distributed in the e-newsletter of the Tolland County Chamber of Commerce, with which Drew has been involved for 35 years. This e-newsletter goes to hundreds of local businesses. Please pray that it will spark visits to the WIHS website and new WIHS listeners!
