I can't believe 2023 is almost over. This year feels like I haven't accomplished much, but looking back, I think I've started a great foundation. It was harder than I thought to balance family, my day job, my band, and pursue this! I've got to work on some cool songs this year, and I'm excited to hear the music I'll get to work on in 2024.

Thanks to those who've hired me and those who've helped me get better at this. It's much appreciated! Happy holidays, everyone.

Steady working through Weighing In's EP. Very happy with how it's turning out.

Tons of Empirical Labs gear on this one.

Guitars bus using a pair of DocDerrs, bass guitar through Mike-E and Lil FrEQ, kick and snare through Distressors, vocals using the DerrEsser, and mixbus through a FATSO!

NGD! Picked up a very slightly used EL-9 Mike-E with the Jensen Transformer output mod. Stoked to incorporate this into Tracking and Mixing.

This was the last piece of the puzzle. Now the studio is equipped with every piece by Empirical Labs 😀

Stopped by Vintage King in Nashville for the Focusrite Dolby Atmos demonstration. It was really cool to hear Atmos in action. A truly immersive experience. Forgot to snag shots of the Atmos setup because that area was quite crowded, so here are some photos I took while there. Also, shout out to Adam Clark at VK, cool dude to talk shop with.
