Peltonen Speed Edge 2.0 reduces friction at all snow contact points. Manufacturing the ski in a precise vacuum mold produces a ski with no protruding edge and a gliding sidewall. "With the help of Enjoywinterr and its Abilica, and my incredible coaches at Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation, I have been able to set up a small training center in Palo Alto. While I have only had it for a few short weeks, the Abilica XC Mill 2700 has been an invaluable training resource. As one can imagine, Palo Alto does not have a lot of suitable terrain for roller skiing. My initial plan was to be on a ski erg as much as possible and get in all of my ski-specific training through running, though I soon learned the unfeasibility of that. For the last several months we have worked together to set up a space for me to train, and a few weeks ago it came together. The Abilica XC Mill 2700 has and will continue to allow me to improve my technique and fitness while I am playing college soccer. Even after my first session, I knew how impactful it was going to be for me this fall and how much it could influence my ski season. Kristen Bourne, one of the U.S. Ski Team coaches, is now living in Tahoe and last week she drove to Palo Alto to do an interval and technique session with me. It was such an incredibly valuable couple of hours, and I just feel so grateful to have the support of her and so many others. For as long as I can remember my dream has always been to represent the U.S. in skiing and to play college soccer at my dream school, Stanford. With the help of Enjoy Winter and its Abilica brand, and SVSEF I have been able to develop a productive and efficient training environment so I can continue to fulfill my dream of doing both. I'm super excited for ski season and so grateful I have found a way to maintain my ski shape while being here in Palo Alto"

We are pleased to be installing Svecom Ski World Cup Evo 140 stone grinding machine at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center. Svecom technician Guido Charlie flew in from Italy to install machine and teach Soho's staff including Bill Pierce , Joshua Korn and Luke Bodensteiner all the machine can do to make skis run faster.
