..FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM EST THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Elevated river levels caused by excessive rainfall are expected.
* WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Kentucky, including the following counties in south central Kentucky: Laurel, McCreary, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Wayne and Whitley. In southeast Kentucky: Bell, Clay, Harlan, Knox and Leslie.
* WHEN...Until 930 PM EST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 931 AM EST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...Somerset, London, Monticello, Williamsburg, Barbourville,Harlan, Pineville, Manchester, Whitley City, Middlesboro, Loyall, Science Hill, Burnside, Wallins Creek, Rye, Barton,Faber, Deering, Grove and Woodbine.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
