Right now, the American Red Cross has an emergency blood shortage. The Red Cross national blood inventory is the lowest it’s been at this time of year since 2015, with less than a day’s supply of certain blood types in recent weeks. The Red Cross is working around the clock to meet the blood needs of hospitals and patients – but can’t do it alone. While there is not an immediate need for additional blood drive locations, more blood donors are needed now. We need your help!
The blood drive at First Mennonite on October 18th is not even half way booked. Please book your appointment to make a positive difference in someone’s life.

PSA if you receive a call that claims there has been a purchase on your Amazon account that they wish to verify Hang Up. I, DesiréeBeauchamp-Boucher, received such a call the other day and I am always suspicious of such things so I googled it. The call I received said, "there has been a $900 purchase made on your Amazon account. If you made this purchase press 1 if you did not make this purchase and wish to dispute it press 2." I hung up and did some internet sleuthing (knowing I could always contact Amazon myself if I believed there was a need to). I quickly found that this is a new scam trying to gain your personal information. Do not press 2, do not pass go, do not collect $100...hang up and look at your Amazon account on a separate device. You will quickly find that no such purchase has been made.
