I have no explanation; I love pumpkin pie. Does Thanksgiving even count without pumpkin pie on the table, I wondered. Isn’t it part of the holy Thanksgiving trifecta: turkey , cranberry sauce and PUMPKIN PIE? Alas, despite my many arguments, my dogged protest has come to nothing.
